i have a klx250 with the Bill Blue 351 kit, really nice.

Looking forward to part two next week :)

FYI, the suspension on the kawasaki is adjustable. I stiffened compression on mine 4 clicks in front ,6 rear. Quick and easy with a pocket screwdriver.  That was about half of the available adjustment toward stiffening from stock. And with a few mods , I've had my klx to 90mph and it's a 250. And they are most certainly NOT the same price.

Team KLX 🎉 for the win 🏆

Aftermarket shock on the KLX is expensive but a cogent spring upgrade is not too expensive, and Kawi designed the KLX so changing all 3 springs is NOT a nightmare of a job. I put in a heavier cogent spring in the back of mine (I'm 270#) and racetech springs in the front. I didn't change any valves or oils.

My combo is a gen 3 Duke 390 and a fully farkled CRF300L.....

Hi guys, coming from a Wr 250r with big bore kit and a Gasgas Es 700 and having the opportunity to ride the 390 for a few miles I will say the following: my wr 250r feels way more like a real dirt  bike and the motor as strong as the 390 just because of the huge weight difference, really night and day. The 390 is even heavier than my gasgas, which is crazy. When you ride on the road the handling is ok but you don't have the playful handling of a light bike going offroad. It doesn't feel like a small dual sport more like a big fat one. I wonder why you guys don't appreciate the light weight of the klx. Regards

“Wanna race” ——- NOOOOOO
😮😢 mad respect… 🫡 I got the 450 but even I don’t race folks. Only person I’m competing against is myself 😂❤

If you can find a 390 in CA, your looking at 10k OTD.  They marked those up significantly due to the popularity.

if you want the 390 to be more planted on the road, loosened the triple clamp and lower the front 1/2 in.

25:10 "Sup!"

360-370 wet on the Enduro R btw.  But its low, especially due to exhaust vs side exhaust.  With some weight reduction, you can get it into the 350's wet (lithium battery, remove passenger pegs, tail tidy, etc).

The KTM is a nice bike for sure but my only real concern is how many miles will that 390 engine last? An old DRZ400 will go to 70,000 miles, the Kawasaki 300 probably will last long as well. The 390? really not sure about that one. I'm debating if I should get a 390 or not to be honest. For me it's between the KLX300 a used DRZ400 or the 390. Looking to get one next fall so I have time, haven't had a bike for about 10 years now. My last one was a DRZ400sm. Great channel BTW, subbed.👍

The difference comes at a price.

The KTM also has a 4 year warranty compared to the Kawasaki 1 year

Without being rude, what do you guys weigh?

You can’t take that KTM on a real trail. It’s not an Enduro bike; It weighs almost 400 pounds! The second you get going under 10 miles an hour and it’s slippery or the trail is off caamber, you’re gonna have issues in unless you’re a professional rider.

Kawasaki pays their employees and parts suppliers. That should tell you where your money has more value in which asset you invest in.
KTM is poorly managed as a whole from the top to the bottom.
