Reminder that if some people hated the game just atleast appreciate the game for being a creative project not driven by money at all in the AAA gaming space.

Finding a private room midway through a long journey is the most relief and satisfying thing ever if you know you know

The power fantasy journey in the game is so satisfying. You start out with such terrible equipment and there's a lot of friction. And then by the end you're crazy fast, can launch over huge gaps, and blast through any environment. It's not just numbers going up, you are able to conquer the world

I love the lengthy monologues, I could listen to them talk for hours

This game is incredible. Still playing literally to this day.

I really loved death stranding gameplay and havent found anything similar yet.

Each delivery i made had its own story to tell. Sometimes it was beautiful, relaxing, peaceful and just chilling when nothing happend in route A to B.

It made me feel smart when i had to cross rivers and mountains when carefully placing ladders and anchors or ziplines to make my way across the obstacles.

It was blood rushing, tense and thrilling when mules or separatist camps fell in between the route. Loved fighting them or escaping from them as you dont want your cargo damaged.

It was horrific, scary and even epic sometimes when going through BT gazer, shaking off tar people, or even getting sucked in and escaping or fighting the boss.

It was so so immersive as how much diverse the gameplay was while still having being faithful to its core. Not many games comes as close in terms of how much unscripted scenario death strandings sandbox ends up giving.

There was always reason to take an extra mile and make one last delivery for me.

I felt every aspect was polished and well made.

The story? Absoutle cinema. I wont really expand on it. Since it speaks for it self. But i loved every charchter and every cutscene.

Absoulte cinema. 🙌 Peak gaming for me.

Waiter, Waiter! GIVE MY KING BASIL MORE VIEWS!

Holy shit dude i just beat ds1 for the first time and i think i used that zip line you built on the mountain

I’m over 10 hours into ds1 and I’m hooked

I love Kojima’s lengthy monologues and exposition dumps, thats just how he rolls and I respect how he refuses to change that to appeal to a wider audience, he’s dedicated to making the art he wants to make not just a product that makes sales

Say what you want about the dialogue, but “I brought you a metaphor” is some real peak writing and I will not accept otherwise.

I played this game for the first time this year after I finished playing every Kojima metal gear. For some context when the game originally came out I was one of those people who was hating on the game because at the time I just thought it looked silly and not in a good way. Then in the 2020's I finally played metal gear solid and became a very massive fan and grew to love and respect Hideo Kojima as not just a developer but as a creator in general. So I gave the game a chance this year and I really enjoyed it I liked the story and liked playing it it still has much that can be improved but for what it is I think it's really awesome and I think if 2 took some notes from this game and builds upon it we can have something really special on our hands and I can't wait to play it and also hear your perspective on it as well
Amazing video you did great have a wonderful day 💚

the ending cutscene of this game is also just amazing, over an hour long, yet felt like a fraction of that

Recently started playing death stranding 1 after years of skepticism, and wow! Just wow. This game is so fun and unique. In an age where game studios are just churning out cash grabs , this felt thoughtful it felt it was a passionate project with lots of work put into it !

We don't have much delivery games on consoles. As someone who very much liked to play Euro Truck Simulator 2, it is not a game meant for everyone. The gameplay loop in Death Stranding is just the next best thing. The feeling of going from A to B while listening to music or just taking in the environment. It was a nice game to have in the background while listening to podcasts as well.

the first time i played the game, i hated it, genuinely hated it.
A few years later, after completing it for the first time, i m here defending it as one of the best games i played.
The freedom, the piece of traversing, the feeling of knowing you are getting better, readier, more efficient. It takes some use to, but it’s wonderful.

11:00 this is the hardest I've laughed all month. Thank you.

I listen to low roar so much now because of death stranding. Tbh favorite game ive played so far.

I miss the monster energy drinks lmao.

3:34 I’VE USED YOUR ZIPLINE BEFORE (and then I fell and dropped half my stuff 😭 but that helped me so much with the snowstorm level)
