I wish I had this class in high school!!!

This is an amazing informative video . Probably the best video on alignments on YouTube

I am a DIY my whole life, but I waited 62years to see this clarification on sequence of Caster Toe (on rear) and the Caster Camber Toe (on front). My purposes are to understand adjustments after repairs and then a conversation with a shop for my MX5 in prep for a track day and sport street. Thank you!

Noob alert--don't forget to disconnect the sway bars when you corner weight!!!!  I've never done that...ever. ;)

The informatin in these videos is always so good, keep em coming please!

Comment for the algorithm.... thanks Al!!

Assmometer....one of the best guages you can have and is not too expensive...

Great info, exactly what I was looking for!

Another great and informative video!  That camera work looked good....LOL.  Al, if you keep giving away your secrets, they will catch you.

I never run on a track. I run RS4s 200tw. So just street. -2 cam all around, 1/8 toe-in total each axle and 6.5 caster without PS. 5" ride height for KY roads. These are the setting I found work best for my driving style on the road and for the average condition of the roads in my area. I have tried more aggressive settings and they work great on smooth roads but I drove to many times on rough roads.

Love your videos

One of the most important things I got from the video was “Bring donuts” (see whiteboard). The most important staple of a mechanics diet is donuts.

Any opinion on steering rack spacers for na’s

Fantastic info Al. One question, how whould you change your alignment for autocross? I presume your alignment settings for the RR and Hoosier are for roadcourses?

Al, I'm super grateful for you sharing your experience summarized into such a well made video.
I have a specific use case which I really hope you can give me some help with, I'm building my miata for hillclimb (Europe), it's turbocharged and my suspension and tires (size and type) is completely free. What would you recommend for say 205/50/15 hillclimb soft slick as far as height and alignment goes? I was thinking I wouldn't really want to run on bump stops and maybe also would like to have a bit less camber and more toe than in your application?

What settings would you run for a street/track NB setup running 205 RS 4’s
(200 TW)

So good vidéo thanks alot i would find this early, i switch to NB to NC do you have same alignement settings for NC ? Ride height, rear front caster camber and toe?

I predominately race on a clockwise circuit mainly right turns would you change anything based on that fact.  Thanks

Where do you get your CV Axles?

It's not sexy by any means, but can we get a video of how you inspect, load and trailer your cars to the track?

Great video...being in the Rocky Mountains with thinner air density, do you think the optimal pressure is higher?  I typically like coming off track on RR's at 33 or 34.  hearing that you come off at 31 sounds a bit low.  Am I crazy?
