Triforce heroes is the hardest because having friends is harder than playing Zelda 😂

This video is how I find out I didn't actually finish spirit tracks since I didn't know about Captain rank...

Pretty sure it’s collectors anxiety, not an addiction

Personally I think needing to 100% a game in both normal and hard mode isn't needed, as getting 100% on the hardest difficulty counts as 100% mastering the game

My wife and I 100%ed Hyrule Warriors on Wii U, then the Switch one released and I was so sad to have to do it again lmao. At least the FPS was more stable...

I’m surprised minish cap isn’t on this list. Yeah sure 99% of the game’s collectables aren’t that bad, but the figurine heart piece by itself should make the game super high up my lord.

I’m so proud of myself knowing that I 100% triforce heroes in my childhood.  I honestly loved that game so much and I was so fortunate to have friends who were also super into it

I would argue that the OG wind Waker is harder than the HD version because your pictobox can only hold 3 photos at a time (instead of 12) and you can only submit 1 per in game day.

Yoda - "The Zelda wiki says that upgrading all your armour in Tears of the Kingdom isn't required to 100% the game. How can this be? Hmmm? A thought?"
Youngling - "The Zelda wiki is wrong."
Yoda - "Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is."

Hyrule Warriors DE is ridiculously difficult not only because you need to max out every character to Level 255 and get the sheer number of pieces of heart and heart containers, but the real hell is My Fairy, as noted there are 39 skills to obtain and while some aren't too bad especially the bronze and silver skills, but getting gold and rainbow skills are a completely different beast especially since you usually only want to raise one fairy, and getting  all the skills can take dozens of hours if not hundreds by itself due to how scarce food where at best you can only get around 6-7 with optimal conditions (weapon with food+ ) and a food boosting apothecary which you have to refresh EVERY SINGLE TIME, and if you use basic food it can take up to 5-6 refreshes to finally get 1 rainbow skill which and you have to repeat this process over and over, constantly refreshing your fairy to get good natures and max out said natures. The thing is, the best food is gratitude crystals, which Silver gives +7 to all stats and gold gives +10 to all stats. You can use 50 silver gratitude crystals or 34 gold gratitude crystals which is the most effecient way of getting stats (and pretty much guarantees a rainbow skill) but getting gratitude crystals is even more of a pain since you need to raise a fairy to level 25 for silver or level 50 for gold then release the fairy for 1 gratitude crystal so while more reliable it is a LOT MORE TEDIOUS and all rainbow skills require 5 specific natures at over 250 points each to get one and the set of natures needed is diffferent and you can only change one nature at a time. Thankfully the fairies you raise are so broken that the remaining stuff is simple by comparison.

I got 396 hours on the 3ds version of Hyrule warriors, not even close to done

38:37 I still consider beating the trial of the sword on master mode one of my greatest gaming accomplishments. It’s like the only thing I remember doing in the decade that was covid

majoras mask is my all time favorite game partially for this reason. i never really needed a guide to 100% complete it, it just flowed so naturally in my playthroughs, and after each playthrough it felt so nice to finish the game with the feeling that everything is completed.

I feel like you including 100% both normal and master mode feels rather cheap

45:03 I remember when me and my two friends very ironically all got this game for Christmas. I would say the hardest part about 100%ing the game was keeping those friends until the very end because we ended up hating each other by the end of it, like actually we never spoke to each other again after a week of trying to get anywhere in the game. And I never got to beat the game because of how bad the online multiplayer ran and you KNOW it was just hell asking my siblings to play with me because they were younger (of course) and would purposely make me mad by doing the opposite of what I told them 😭😭 I genuinely lost 3 years of my lifespan solely due to the stress levels induced by that godforsaken, hell on Earth game. And on top of all of that, I am a perfectionist, so you know damn well I wasn't going to stop until I completed the multiplayer challenges. Long story short, I no longer own a DS because it got thrown out of the car window as my family was driving for hours unending on a road trip. I got so pissed and wouldn't stop throwing a fit at my brother so my mom grabbed the DS from me and threatened to throw it out of the window into oncoming traffic. I said I "didn't care" and I still remember watching it exit the window onto I-75 as we drove past it

The only Zelda game I technically 100% is Twilight Princess.

50:45 This is the first time I've ever seen gameplay of these games.  I thought it was just a dvd like game with cutscenes

excited to see spirit tracks here ! phantom hourglass and spirit tracks obviously aren’t the best zeldas, but they’re 2/3 of the ones i grew up with. we had twilight princess too, but that’s a widely loved one. i would run around on my sister and mother’s save files on these games and think they were the coolest thing ever but i didn’t know how to beat games as a kid really, so now as an adult i know there’s better but they still hold a special place in my heart :) so it’s nice to see spirit tracks or phantom hourglass get mentioned in zelda discussions

The flashing lights when you die in Zelda 2 are gnarly! ouch 😅

I never found Rollgoal that hard, however the archery mini games in Majoras Mask are impossibly difficult for me
