"Without John Williams, bikes don't really fly, nor do brooms in Quidditch matches, nor do men in red capes. There is no Force. Dinosaurs do not walk the earth. We do not wonder, we do not weep, we do not believe." - Steven Spielberg.

This movie is timeless and so is the soundtrack...

The big "reveal" is something of movie magic. Music, acting, the scene .... I get Dr Grant and his reaction. His life's work there in front of him .. magic

I always love how people are surprised at how awesome the dinosaurs look for 1993--that they look better than most things nowadays. Now imagine what this was like in 1993, when there was nothing of the same caliber to compare it to! The t-rex scene is absolutely a masterpiece. Meanwhile, your reaction to the triceratops' poop scene did not disappoint! "Have ya'll seen the Lion King?" No, they haven't. It came out a year later. ^_^

I don't care what kind of screen you watch this on nowadays or what kind of sound system you have, NOTHING can replicate watching this movie in theaters when it first came out. No movie before this was anything like it and it still holds up better than anything made since. It is and will always be legendary.

'So, we just got finished watching a horror movie disguise as a kids movie.' LOL

@17:06 "I don't even know why I asked that dumbass question ... if you can make a dinosaur, I'm pretty sure you got a good organization system." 🤣🤣🤣

The granddaughter is an accomplished artist now. She makes absolutely stunning paintings.

It's insane how well this film still holds up today.

That shot of the Raptor at 1:02:39 showing his face reflecting the computer screen with a sequence of nucleotide base pairs (the letters that represent the molecules that hold up a DNA strand) is pure genius. This is an epic movie.
