I like the side-mounted extractor fan in the shower. I’m planning to do the same in my van because I don't have enough space on the roof.

Do you have any advice for side-mounting it? My fear is that it won't extract as much vapor as a roof-mounted one, and that it might create some condensation inside the fan itself, since it will be mounted horizontally through the wall.

Last question; what's the name of the water-resistant wood panel that you use for your shower?

Great video, can you say what were the dimensions of the bathroom floor in the end? and how wide was the door opening? Trying to get an idea of what will be big enough but not take up the whole van. Roller door looks great too, but is that a bit of a trade secret?

Again a very nice video which give a ton of ideas but also.... a ton of questions. In the video is mentioned that in the doorway to the shower you use aluminum u-track on both top and bottom and on one of the vertical side. You mention that the other one is covered by the shower door. Which kind of shower door do you use and is the a picture on the internet that shows the finished install?
