As a viewer I got exhausted after season 6, so I can’t even imagine how exhausted the cast was after 9 seasons.

The first season was great. Over time the Flash became a sidekick on his own show. Grant was the perfect Flash IMO. It's a shame that the character that he played stopped being the focus of the stories.

Whilst the quality of the Flash varied, shall we say... Grant was always the one consistently great thing about the show, without a doubt. He is THE Flash for me and whoever will inevitably come next in the role will have a lot to live up to. I'd love to see one more Arrow/Flash crossover with him and Stephen, those 2 were the heart and soul of the Arrowverse

I love how grant has a brain. Even he acknowledges that even one season of the flash was a stretch due to his power.

The main issue with the Flash is that the message got VERY REPETITIVE. You can only have so many seasons and so many episodes before you run out of ideas. That’s why we have the meme quotes of:

“Run Barry run”
“You’re the lightning I’m the lightning rod”
“I can’t go that fast” proceeds to goes that fast
“We can’t kill Thawne (cause we need him in future seasons for views”

So on and so forth.

2:17 well I'm glad the actor acknowledges this. Flash should win nearly every single fight he's ever in. Reverse Flash is one of his only regulars that should be able to beat him

I don't blame Grant for thinking that the Flash overstayed its welcome and for being burnout towards the end, I mean it was a decade of his life. Shows should have a beginning, middle and end not be milked for all their worth at the cost of storytelling.

I give props to Grant just acknowledging how the show stretched thin for far too long. Yes, the Flash is one of the most difficult characters to make it "relatable" and do a long series about him without just turning it to mush. I also believe the burnout (for viewers) have to do with how "The Flash" show just became absorbed by all the satellite characters of the arrowverse. It was starting to feel like the starting jump for all of these new characters into their own shows. Most Crossover events just felt forced and the tie-ins were just cheap.
