You had to be there and witness that era. The guy just seemed to win everything and had a new move nobody had ever seen on a daily basis. And that hang time...oh lawd!
"I feel if he wanted to lock someone up he could." Could and does are two different things. And if LeBron doesn't because he chooses not to it's worse. There is a difference between trying and failing and failing because you didn't try.
Yeah MJ did face the shaq penny magic twice in the playoffs. I'm 45 so I have seen EVERY bulls game from 1990 until 98 finals, I was watching in the 80's but was young as fuck and was more into going outside with friends and shit. Also recorded every game from 90 till 98 finals, all on VCR tapes lol. in 95 when MJ came back they faced the magic and lost in the playoffs, next year with the rust shaken off, they got swept as the bulls basically at 72-10 AND won it all were the greatest team ever. 93 suns and the 97 and 98 Jazz were better then any spurs team. The 98 spurs got swept by the Jazz. Jazz got handled by the bulls. Lebrick is not a juggernaut, he's a jumper. Jumps from team to team if it looks like it suits him. Dude is softer then baby shit after a hot mexican lunch. You also in no FUCKING way can be called the GOAT if in the 2011 Finals you let a fucking old ass bench warmer in 34 yo Jason Terry outplay you when it mattered most. I'm trying to imagine a prime MJ letting a mid 30's pine rider do that to him, and I can't do it. If it would have happened, I think MJ would have shot jasons, then himself on the court lol.
Another thing the china stan has is the most turnovers in ABA/NBA history. You only pick lebron because of your own bias which is something MANY do, better player (FAR BETTER) be damned. It's actually a human psychological condition I'm not looking it up, but basically everyone wants to say they saw the GOAT in whatever sport growing up. You want to be a witness to it as it happens, not see highlight clips like of MJ's nowadays because you were too young. Doesn't make someone a bad person. What does it mean not to fuck with lebron? The guy is not talking shit, just presenting facts, stats, and scenarios. Yes he had practically no weaknesses. He was AVERAGE at 3s that is the worse of his game and NOT a weakness. Why would anyone talk about how they handle their teammates and shit LOL!! That is subjective shit that no one knows as it's behind closed doors unless you mean the 8-10 hours a week you get to see them, and just ignoring the MANY more hours we don't see.
You wanna talk about leading team mates? A guy on here called bruce blitz had a vid years ago showing a stat that said out of all the teams to make the finals, if you take out their big superstar and look at his supporting cast, that the 90's 6 championships supporting cast is in the top 10 weakest all time.Yes each winner takes up a slot in the top 10 lol, MJ was the ultimate leader even though he was a HUGE DICK, but it worked. Lebron sure knows how to lead teams, especially like 2-3 years ago in the playoffs the camera showed him sitting on the bench looking all dejected. HE got up and left to the back never to come back and what they were down by 5 or so with around 4 mins left. But he's not a quitter or bad team mate, no, he lifts up his team LMAO
I’m Swedish 🇸🇪. Jordan’s legacy is way bigger. He was HUGE worldwide all the years he played. People went crazy. And everyone STILL knows who Jordan is. LeBron is only big in the US and only known by basketball fans/sports fans. Jordan is untouchable.
There’s a video called, “Destroying the myth that Micheal Jordan dominated a weak era.” I highly recommend it. It puts context into how tough Jordan’s finals competition actually was
It was never a question to most of us. And even before he got to play his first NBA game he was considered to be the greatest basketball player of all times by his coaches and others before he became that. That's right, even before he set and broke records, and believe me, he has more than the ones we highlighted.
Wilt Chamberlain was a force of nature on both offense and defense, and he could also run faster and jump higher than anyone back in his day...a supreme talent no doubt, but when I watched MJ play, he was stunning and amazing on the court..MJ made everything he did look so effortless and creative...He said in an interview that he didn't want to be a 3 pt. shooter because it would take away from his overall game..He said he preferred to drive to the basket and mix things up...He said that he didn't want to be one of those players that just hung out by the 3 pt. line waiting for someone to pass him the ball....MJ knew he could score on anyone at anytime...He knew that it didn't matter if he had to score on 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 defenders....MJ had enough skills and athletic ability to create his own shot, score the basket, and a lot of times, draw the 'and-1' foul...once he drained the easy free throw, it was his way of saying "I don't need a 3 pt line, I make my own 3 pointers the old fashioned way.....The Bulls Historic Mixtape and Best Rare Video Voyager videos are a TOTALLY entertaining set of videos to watch...you'll see why so many people from all walks of life say MJ is the greatest to ever play the game....💯💥✌
Great reaction man. The 'Eye Test' is actually the most compelling argument for Jordan. When you watch Jordan's game, it was so consistently dominant and mesmerized the globe. Jordan said on record that he didn't want to rely on the 3-point shot because it took away from the type of game he loved. LeBron is amazing, but if we're talking about goats, there are way too many holes in his game.
Look up Kareem's resume, he legitimately has a very strong case to be the goat. His resume is very strong.
As far as Jordan’s competition, not only was it extremely tough offensively and defensively, but despite what the media tells you, those bulls teams weren’t nearly as strong as lebrons finals teams. Jordan went on his first 3peat with only one all-star on his team besides himself
