It's always amazing that even after years of using Reaper I still learn something from these videos where you just explain the very basic functions of this powerhouse^^ There are just sooo many functionalities everywhere, it's amazing :D
Kenny many of us out here are wanting to see an analog mixer interaction and view and that is so so difficult to do in a DAW that would be an incredible video to make
I love how adaptable REAPER is. Although other DAWs have this or similar functionality, the ease with which it works in REAPER makes it so much more adaptable to your workflow. If I want my MCP to emulate the layout of the SSL Duality, the Amek G2520, or one of the other consoles that I learned on, I can do that quickly and easily. If I really wanted to, I could remove the track colours from the MCP to make it look more like a console, although I doubt I'd go that far. Thanks for another great video, Kenny. You truly are the REAPER GOAT, mate.
I've been using Reaper for about 17 years, and I've never explored the "folder tracks to the left" option. But I can imagine that being quite useful when you're mixing with a control surface. All your various tracks can be going into submixes (drums, guitars, vocals, keys, etc), and then having all those submixes to the left means that on your surface, they'll all be sitting together on the left of the surface. I might have to experiment with that! Thanks Kenny.
I’ve got FL, Tracktion, and a few others. I found the training lacking in these. People told me to check out Reaper. So I did and it’s my “Go To” DAW now mainly because of your comprehensive training videos. You know Reaper and you know how to make a training video. Thanks. Keep it up.
