The defense team for former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) has filed a new criminal review with the Supreme Federal Court (STF) seeking to overturn his conviction in the context of the coup plot. In the document, the lawyers cite a statement by STF Justice Alexandre de Moraes in the proceedings discussing a possible investigation of the magistrate himself in the Banco Master case. The criminal review was assigned to Justice Nunes Marques, who is already the rapporteur for another request filed by Bolsonaro's defense.
