Even the intro foresaw the trick: "You're not just facing me, you're facing my entire family."
Just amazing.

This is probably the most Penn & Teller trick I've ever seen from someone who's neither Penn nor Teller. Awesome!

"You're up against my family." He can't help but expose himself 😂

“Juggler with a silent partner…” That line means so much more now. The audacity to tell them how the trick was done, and then doing it to them is next level stuff. He almost jokingly mocked them, because he wife was the silent partner.

Using a hidden assistant and then revealing it after you fooled them is amazing xD

Guess he Did have a silent partner after all lol😂😂🙌😁👍

Yeah! That was awesome! I happened to be backstage for some reason at the taping of your show and was wondering why your wife was dressed in a divers suit. You sort of explained half of it, but now everything makes sense! This was one of the better Fool us moments in all seasons! well done!

Penns face when your wife popped up from the tank was pure child like joy. You got him good there! Such a beautiful trick

Penn & Teller: You fooled us!
John: But wait, there's more!!

I love the fact that you teach kids magic as a way for them to become better public speakers. It's a great idea. I'll have to look for some classes for my kids locally.

Just realized:
"You are up against my family"
"Someone can get really famous if they started as a juggler *if they have a silent partner*"

Okay, that was super cool. Like, seriously, the story of his family and his incredible wife and partner and the surprise ending. Thank you both for such an entertaining trick. I think this was the perfect Penn & Teller trick. You played them at their own game!

Kudos, man! This was a revolutionary final for the show. I wonder how on earth no one ever thought of such a vivid reveal right after being handed the trophy. It doesn't really matter how well the trick was - this attitude of bringing fresh breath to such a long runing show is by itself worth an award!

This is truely the best fool us trick I've seen in years. Thanks for sharing.

My reaction was the same as Penn's and then in the last 5 seconds you turned it into my favorite ending of any Fool Us Performance. That was awesome bro!

Besides the whole juggler's kit and the carnie theme, this was the best tribute to a Penn and Teller style act as I could imagine. John drew all the attention with words and gestures to keep the focus on himself, so no one had the chance to notice that there was someone silently manipulating everything out there, on stage, in plain sight. I can't help but think this was designed to be as close of a Penn and Teller mirror as possible, and I love it.

JIC you’re still backstage wondering, you can know that we enjoyed this as an 11/10 performance.

Right before she popped up out of the water I was like "what do you mean you didn't palm and switch the duck?? There's no other way to have done it!" Haha
