School wanted to come after her. She learned more in the first two weeks than probably a year of school.

Great video . No AI stuff . Laura wrote a book " ONE GIRL , ONE DREAM " about her solo circumnavigation of the world .

I was watching this with goosebumps on my skin and plenty of adrenaline in the bloodstream. I wish I could turn clock back and sail like her when I was 15. Now I am in my late 50s and trying to gain lost time when I was doing work, "career", buying house, car and all that stuff my family needs. I am now ready to sail away. My daughter is 15 and she doesn't like sailing but I do so I go single handed sailing dad next week from Scotland to Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and back to Scotland for the first time in my life on my sailing boat Angee. Thank you Laura and your dad for inspiration :-)

True hero!
I met her once, many years ago. Found her very mature at that age and confident.
She did a lecture and showed
a video of huge following waves while reading a book.
My neigbour said: my God, I get afraid at 5Bft on the IJsselmeer.
Inspiring woman.

Thank you for the wonderful documentary,

I wish I had started sailing when I was young.
I was bitten by the bug.
Instead I waited until I was in my 50's, and had nobody left to take care of.

That included taking care of my mom the last 10 years of her life.
My mom was a lot like your father, and I love her for it.

Now that she is gone, I am starting to live my dream.
However I wish I had started earlier and could have given her some trips while she was still alive.

Excellent documentary. Great camerawork, lovely animation but it all holds together because Laura is a wonderful subject. Very down-to-earth and honest but also courageous. Well done!

This woman is a true modern day hero. She's a living example of what you can accomplish if you truly believe in yourself and in what you do. Bravo Laura, and thank you.

The really dangerous part for a 14 year old girl sailing around the world alone is when she goes ashore. A 14 year old could certainly be competent enough for the voyage.

She’s the real deal , absolutely amazing
