She really enjoyed playing at the Ateneu that evening. One of her best performances of Prokofiev 3 I have heard live. In the hall the piano sounded godly. Pletnëv was very good. After the break she stayed in the public at the second part. Afterwards she spoke with all young people and public who wanted to say hello or waited for an autograph.

Playing like that at 85 is nothing less than extraordinary...

Outstanding!

She is still so beautiful - still one of the greatest pianists anyone alive has seen and - she knows this concerto like nobody else on the planet!  Brava, Martha!

am i the only one feeling this? i can feel that GOAT martha wanted to speed up in the encore but she couldn’t lol

Ich bin glücklich, dass die wahren Schätze endlich den Weg nach Rumänien gefunden haben.

Orchestra not always aligned which is a shame.  Martha seemed to try hard at times to keep the tempo right.
Anyway a fabulous piece.  Goodness knows how many times she has played it. Still awesome
