6 months ago I lost my husband. We'd been together 19 years. Over the course of our relationship he (raised Catholic, although not practicing) helped save me.  He never wanted to go to church, but always answered my questions about Catholicism. Ironically I converted while he was still lapsed and didn't want to go to church. When he was in the hospital over the course of 10 months, I watched him accept the Holy Spirit, allow the Anointing of the sick, allow local priests to come to the hospitals he was in and talk to him, accept praying, and accepted me reading prayers and the Bible to him. I'm so heartbroken that he's gone. But I'm so happy he allowed God/Jesus back into his heart.

My father was a fallen away Catholic. I didnt even know that he had been raised Catholic  until I was an adult. A few days before  he died he asked for a priest  and received last rites.  As some one who myself converted years later , I now realize what a blessing that was.

I'm a palliative care physician so I see a lot of patients at the end of their lives. I am Catholic and struggle with evangelizing as I often feel I am "bothering," people. Please pray for me and for wisdom and strength to have these conversations

This priest speaks from his heart.

I’m in late stage cancer, don’t know if I have weeks or months to live…. BUT I recently got baptized Catholic and I feel my soul at peace.   ❤
Thank You Jesus
I love You Jesus

I was blessed enough to spend two days with my father while he was dying from cancer in our living room. I never prayed so hard, and minutes before his death he sat straight up and made the sign of the cross. I know the Divine Mercy Chaplet works.

As a nurse looking after people who are at the end of their lives, this is very helpful.

My father had been an atheist for over 40 years. He developed a very aggressive rare blood cancer that was diagnosed the day he went to the ER due to weakness and difficulty breathing. He was given between hours and 5 days to live.

I was able to FaceTime him and tell him of my conversion experience I had just a few months prior, which I’d been meaning to share next time I saw him in person (we were thousands of miles apart). He agreed to pray with me and later to ask Jesus to make Himself known to him.

Later that day, I happened to find the Divine Mercy Chaplet (I was new myself and had not heard of it). I prayed along with a beautiful sung version I found on YouTube. My dad died within hours of this.

I believe God called me home to the Catholic Church just in time for this moment.

Lord Jesus Christ son of God have mercy on me a sinner.

It makes me think of the thief on the cross❤
The one that accepted Jesus on his last moment

This morning I found my mom dead. I wish I watched this sooner and could have talked to her. Please pray for the repose of her soul, and for me as I process the trauma I’m experiencing and the ramifications of it.

I had a close friend dying of cancer and I wasn't sure what to do. I took my Rosary to the hospital chapel and prayed how my Grandma taught me. I wept through the entire Rosary and I prayed so hard for a miracle. Well my friend passed. It wasn't until years later, after I was confirmed and had my first communion as an adult, that I found out that he had passed on the Day of Our Lady's Assumption. I hope and pray that Our Lady interceded and the day of his passing was a sign of that. Thank you for everything that you do Father Mike!

My brother in law was dying in a catholic hospital, a few days before he left us, a Sister came in and spoke with him. I don’t know what she said, but he gave his life to Christ, was baptized and received communion. We’re so much at peace because of her, and I never got to meet or thank her!

It is my wish that many listen to this and choose God.  Well done Father Mike.

I’m a nurse in the Philippines and I never worked as a nurse there..I came to Japan to work as a caregiver and I kind of ask God why I felt demoted in my career, and then it hit me, I have a purpose here..and I’m answering that call..thank you father Mike..

I choose God now… not waiting until last moment ✝️🙏🌹

I am a hospice social worker. I tell patients that Jesus loves them, to reach out to him, he wants them with him.

Pray for Moya Elizabeth Lewis who is homebound for the past 2 years & now very sick is now end of her life.   Amen

My son died on 18th May just 50 years from Cancer. He said to me 2 weeks before he died, Mum I've seen the other side and its beautiful. I'll be fine, its a much better world than the one we're living in now. That touched my heart more than anything he has ever said. My daughter said she saw him after he passed, and he was happy and healthy. How can you not believe. 🙏

I was alone with my dad as he took his last breath.  I recited Psalm 23 to him.  May God accept him into his kingdom.  Amen
