I love the book room scene! When she comes into it for the first time and fears that she is overstepping. When she asks about his father and he steps behind her and seems to radiate out love for her and his father. Their eyes catch each others for a short time and it seems like another break through connection. Some wonderful acting there!

My honourable mention scene is the one where Adam has written to the Navy regarding the welfare of Persephone's brothers and has received a letter in response. Adam presents the letter to Persephone, knowing how much this means to her. She innocently kisses Adam on the cheek to thank him, and what follows is the first passionate kiss between the two of them. It's the first time we see Adam lower his guard emotionally, and really submit to his feelings, remarking to Harry afterwards, as if in shock, "I just kissed Persephone". Indeed, sir, you did. Love it; great chemistry.

In the book they are surrounded by more female staff in the wound care scene and they tell him he should not be the one to tend to her because of his status and title, then he goes off about being her husband and wedding vows. He insists and debrided the wound and then let a maid sew her up.

I also bought the books and there are so many details that couldn’t be in the 4 series I believe for editing purposes.
I hope they will find the money to put on screen the other Lancaster family characters!!
There is lots of audience for this type of show!!

I LOVE most the scene where Adam presents the official letter about her brothers' condition and tells her he simply got her the information she needed. She is so profusely happy she kisses his cheek and then he grabs her hand to pull her back to him for their first kiss.

There’s SO many funny scenes, I had to make a 3 part compilation of all of Persephone’s mic drops.
A few that I feel go un-talked about but make me giggle each time is P’s diss of the Duke of Sussex. “…and he is son of the king!” gets me to snort at his poverty. 🤭
Also after Athena exclaims: “100K£!”
P goes. “We would have food enough to eat.”
The understatement of the century. 🤣🤣
I would’ve fallen out of that swing!
