He was so way ahead of his time. He was very conscious about how he would come acron on film. You could see the struggle for perfectionism. If the film had not run out, he would have been happy to continue for hours.

This was filmed as the Bright Young Things era was reaching its end. There is only one video of him younger, a silent film of he and Stephen Tennant dressed up and acting out a self-written play in 1927. So many people throughout Cecil's life would comment on his eyes and lashes. Terribly gorgeous. They held my focus. He seemed to choose his words slowly and carefully while speaking, interviews later showing the same trait. It's wonderful to see him speaking while close up, little mannerisms and such.

My Goodness these reels are unique..Beaton before Opera staging and Films.I saw two weeks ago at The National Gallery a wonderful exhibition about his pictures.. Thanks so much for uploading this "Time Capsule"Video 🎉🎉🎉
