Poor baby. She's not a cat, she's a dwarf planet. Hope she gets a new home.

Poor Cookie, she must feel so stressed  over the loss of her owners. She has beautiful eyes.

Cookie!! I miss seeing this girl in the sanctuary 😭 but the good news is she’s been adopted!

My heart ached for her- declawed- lost her owners. No wonder she is not so happy. :-(

Declawed, overweight and her pawrents passed away. I feel so sorry for her.  I hope she can get a new and happier life.❤

"Despite all my rage I'm still just a chonk in a drying cage"

The loaf of bread is angry.

“Do you like tubes?”
“Why yes I love tubes. I am a tube”

Being declawed on all 4 paws is horrific

I gasped when you said she was declawed on all four paws... not only is she suffering from carrying around her excess weight, but she's also walking on four mutilated paws 😢

That ain't no cookie. That's a CAKE.

I adopted a 6yo over-weight cat, and I did EVERYTHING I could to get her to lose weight. I played with her, had her on vet recommended weight management food, we went on gentle walks outside, and nothing seemed to work. She was completely healthy otherwise. As she got older she did develop a thyroid issue (not super uncommon in cats, from what I have seen and understand) and I got her on medication for that. She lived a lot longer than most thought she would, and I am happy I could give her the love and care I could for her golden years. She was one of the best cats I ever had <3 She looked almost exactly like cookie, vibrant green eyes and everything.

Honestly that is a very polite cat. She is super vocal that she doesn't like something but only swat at you once. For a cat, especially an all four declaw one, that's amazing!

Poor girl. She has pretty eyes. I hope she gets rehomed quickly with a loving family.

The side eye she gave you when you called her "big". You are seen, Cookie.

i love her, very vocal about her boundaries but chill and not aggressive at all, i hope she gets a loving home soon

Cat lady and vet tech here. You are 100% correct on declawing. You take away their first line of defense. A cat bite is WAY worse than a scratch.

We adopted a very big, food obsessed, cat. Looked like a Thanksgiving turkey. We made no headway in slimming her down until one weekend when we came back from 2 days away and never turned off the robot feeder. With the discipline and regularity of 4 small meals, she began to slim down without complaint. We are able to give her a treat now and then, but she is not constantly demanding food.  She knows her food arrives regularly, but not from us. Wherever she was before the shelter, she became insecure and obsessive about food. Now she is a sweet and normal weight cat.

Stunning green eyes against her warm brown fur.  Whoever gets Cookie is gonna be blessed
