subscribe or be employed.

If you are feeling a bit unhappy with your place of employment, remember that it could always be so... SO much worse. Not to invalidate your unhappiness, but it's true. History has had a crazy amount of just such odd jobs that were either miserable, deadly, ridiculous, or all of the above. So enjoy this video on your union mandatory day off or lunch break, cause not everyone is as fortunate as you. Here's a historical employment opportunities that I believe were some of the Most Miserable Jobs in History.

"Heh, my job is worse." Says Jen working in her air-conditioned, well-lit modern office

Really depressing that animators have to put "no AI" marks in their videos

I'd rather listen to history from an actual human being breathing than listening to an AI mimicking human breathing.

So sad that you have to put a disclaimer that says no AI in the video, I can recognize this beautiful artwork anywhere!

I love that you can instantly tell that this isn’t AI because the animation has soul in it, not sure how else to describe it but bless you for not making slop

Referring to a pearl as a "salty tonsil stone" is so grossly accurate. I don't think I'll look at them the same again. 😂

13:42 This 15 year old boy wrote and drew bird pictures on the door during his shift to pass the time, but it was so dark he couldn’t even see what he was drawing. His name was Vance Palmer, and this photo was critical in labor reforms during that time. Once the public found out how miserable his working conditions were they became furious.

I love that Christopher Columbus ventured to and explored Donkey Kong Island. They'd never teach that in schools

Chat History getting me through my college years, respect how much effort he puts into each video.

The fact that he has to put "No AI" on the title and thumbnail really shows how sad the reality is

Fun Fact:

For the last 100 years, france carried out executions two branches of the same family carried out every beheading in the country (over 1200).

The guillotine remained in the possession of the last man of that line who gave an interview in 1998 where he showed the last guillotine blade used to behead a man (which still had blood from that execution dried on it).
