Cheers
Tim from Wood 4 Nothing
I've got a question: I myself want to try out and do an inlay where both sides of the wood are flat and look decent.
I do not want to sand it down heavily (the project im working on already used quite thin wood and besides i would like to have similiar thickness on all elements).
My approach to still get an good result is by picking a little more thick wood for the parts which will be pressed in. This way I can sand the outstanding parts on both sides.
Do you have any experience on this? Will it even be possible to have both sides without big holes (at least at small wood thicknesses - I guess at some point it could not work cause of the angle)?
Thank you (I hope you understand it .. :D)
