For years, Eva Braun lived in the shadows — silent, smiling, and carefully kept away from the public eye. She was Hitler’s long-time companion and, for just one day, his wife. On April 30, 1945, she died with him in the Führer’s bunker beneath Berlin. This documentary revisits her life through rare images, historical accounts, and the first scientific biography by Heike Görtemaker. Far from the apolitical blonde cliché, Eva Braun emerges as a determined figure who chose her path — even when it led to death.
