She Hired a Hitman to Kill Her Husband… But It Was a Cop | Dalia Dippolito

Dalia Dippolito thought she’d paid a hitman to murder her newlywed husband. Instead, she walked straight into one of the most jaw-dropping police stings ever filmed — complete with a staged crime scene, hidden cameras, and a performance of grief that the internet never forgot.

Strap in as we unpack the surreal Florida saga of a wannabe black widow, a lovestruck gym bro who dodged the bullet of a lifetime, and a police department that decided to turn an arrest into a full-blown reality-TV moment. From the “5000% sure” hot-mic confession to the trial chaos that lasted years, this case is a masterclass in manipulation, obsession, and spectacular self-sabotage.

Dalia reached peak levels of gaslighting. Demanding he come into the interrogation room like that was crazy.

I feel like if this was on a tv-show I would think it was too over the top...

46:56 when she's cuffed and begging him to come to her, you can tell that she is like this behind closed doors. She's abusive and manipulative

When a cop says you need an attorney youve really messed up

claiming that your husband wanted to be on reality tv as your defense when YOU’RE the one who ended up on reality tv is really kind of funny

She so wanted the oscar. Everytime i see it, i think, what a ham. You could tell she had practiced that moment. Like in "Death Becomes Her"..."Madalaine! ...i must speak to Madalaine!"

She actually believed she'd be better off without him but yet he'd given her like half a million dollars over the years. It takes a special kind of stupid to kill your cash cow!

the cop in the back trying to keep a straight face when she starts "crying" when she learns her husband was "killed". dying

When she’s on the phone to him and actually says “I have limited time” when he’s yelling. Like I’m sorry you’re having an emotional reaction to the fact I tried to have you killed but you’re wasting my phone time.

He didn't go to the cops with suspicions of attempted murder, that was the guy who she asked to set that up.... So the only connection that Mike has to any of this is as the would-be victim. The investigation, the caught-redhanded amounts of overwhelming evidence, that's all being gathered and pursued by the cops, yet you would think that Mike had some otherworldly authority over the whole process by the way she tries so hard to convince him of her innocence. 😂😂😂 Like, dude, even if she did somehow convince HIM, it's out of his hands entirely!

The way she calls him from jail and says “babe! It’s not true!!” Hahahaha😅

Guys, I know people recommend stories you should cover all the time. However, I have a great one for you. It takes place in Canada. It’s about a serial killer and he is referred to as the Picton pig farmer. He killed a lot of women and human DNA was found in his sausages that he made at the pig farm. It’s a very interesting case.
