I love how smiley the old turtles were. Like little lego men.

The sounds of destroying the enemies were so satisfying.

This was the first game I ever beat. I was about five or six and beat it in the backseat of my dad's car on our way to a lake. I distinctly remember Krang laughing after the end credits. That was about 16 years ago and haven't played it again since. I should pick up another copy.

I had this game growing up, obviously. I am the youngest of three kids so my older brothers when they wouldn't play with me I would play this game alone. At times I'd take a quick lunch break and pause the game just to hear "PIZZA TIME!" so that I could feel like I was eating with thee Ninja turtles. God I has such a innocent childhood.

Without a doubt one of the best Game Boy games of its time.

GAMEOVER is what you get after the ending. Like you lost the game. What a reward.

A+B+Select at the Level Select screen. Also the famous Konami code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A) works in this game - it will restore your life.

The music just gets better and Better. It was like going to a rave . Techno, Trance, Synth Heaven. Level 2 music had NO BUSINESS being that good. It alone could wipe the floor with the MAJORITY of game musics from any platform.
