cant wait to watch when the adverts are done

😂 @7:49 in… “don’t get a DH bike, you’re 11! What’re ya on about?!”

I agree, the most versatile and important bike is the San Quentin. My  hardtail will always be my favorite. No full 29ers in my fleet tho, I think 27.5 has become underrated, I find it the most versatile, and I like playfulness more than anything.

good to see your going strong

So satisfying to watch, proud owner here of a custom SQ3 I swapped to for traveling the world and riding everything (I swapped in 3 bikes for the SQ). I did 2 years in Canada and the US, went through Europe and am now riding in Wales and this thing has done absolutely everything, in 1 day with 1 bike I rode the river dirt jumps, pump track and a full day of down hill is Whistler bike park and just doing the big stuff in the park I had a slight feeling of wanting a big bike. This thing is a weapon and I’ll never sell it haha so much appreciation for you Matt, your touches on the frame make it so good 🤙🏼 legend

Soooo good bro, ready to see you back on the bike!

What’s the story of the Alcatraz frame w/rear wheel attached?

A DH bike will work just fine on a pump track or at the dirt jumps. It just requires a slight change to the timing of your pump.

Grab the 150mil trail bike and do it all! My ride has 64 degree head angle combined with 6 bar rear link. Chef's Kiss. Matt Jones bringing real talk to the bicycle world. Word Matt. Thanks for being really genuine! You talk about cycling like you are a 48 year old man! That is a compliment! Cheers G!

I really enjoy Marin's design philosophy. Made for fun.

So great to hear someone using the fun when talking about bikes. For a long time it’s felt like something that bike marketing & reviews have overlooked.

Highly recommend the San Quentin! I do everything on an upgraded San Quentin 2 very great all rounder

The transitions to the SquareSpace promos is legitimately a portion of why I find this channel so amusing.

I'm 6ft 4" and ride a tiny Cove Hooker slopestyle frame with a 160mm fork and 26" wheels, can confirm little bikes are sick, even in wales 😎

Couldn’t agree more on hardtails and the saint quentin 3 I’ve got a saint quentin 3 which I’ve had for a while,I had downhill bikes and enduro bikes etc in the past and it was this bike that got me back into riding after a few years break and I won’t be going back to full sussers

Awesome episode, I've come back to bikes late into my 30's and can't agree more how difficult it is choosing the right bike.

I started on a hardtail, kona big honzo as I rode alot of bmx/jump bikes back in my youth 🤣 got it at a good price but drastically wrong in choice for trails and jumps, geometry was to upright, not slack enough ect ect, sold it for a quarter what I paid for (quickly finding out bikes have terrible resale appeal or value)

Decides to move to canyon, got a torque 5, slack, loads of travel, geometry perfect for my 6"3 large build, rides like a beast down hill, and the mullet set up is so playful, only down side is now when I go to the local bike park with my kids or even go for a ride around the village it's just too much bike 😅

Now in the market for a second bike, another hardtail but learning from the canyon and my previous mistakes, something thats comfortable riding around with the kids but also something I can have a bit of fun with if I'm at the bike park with them and want to hit a small jump line.

I started watching you when Redbull posted the house jump, which was also around the time I bought my Rift Zone. It's a fabulous bike!

This video is pretty cool. This will answer a lot of preoples questions. Looking forward to seeing Jaimy do the new jumps at Woburn. 👍 👍

My son got a Marin bay view for Christmas, he absolutely loves it rode every day since Santa brought it. Even had the mini ramps out 🤘🏻😂

a rowdy hardtail is 100% where everyone should start their mountain bike journey these days. 🤘🤙
