3:34 Imagine someone calling this Fixed instead of Hexed, even though that's an R rated movie on Netflix.

What an exciting collection of upcoming animation trailers! 🎬✨ Seeing so many projects planned for 2026–2028 makes me even more excited about the future of animation.
It also makes me hope that Tezuka Productions' Astro Boy (Mighty Atom / Tetsuwan Atomu) can return as a major global animation franchise for a new generation. 🤖🚀
Astro Boy's themes of human–robot relationships, science and technology, AI, humanity, family, justice, and peace could work extremely well as a modern family-friendly sci-fi adventure, and I think that makes the franchise a natural fit for Disney+.
If Disney wanted Astro Boy today, it would not necessarily have to wait for the tentative 2059 copyright date. Possible routes could include a licensing agreement with Tezuka Productions, co-production, international distribution, or a Disney+ streaming deal.
The 2059 date is only a tentative calculation based on the current posthumous 70-year copyright framework, which could change before then. Copyright and trademark rights are also separate, so the Astro Boy name, logos, trademarks, and other related rights would need to be handled separately.
I'm also looking forward to Astro Boy Reboot, the upcoming TV animation project involving Tezuka Productions, Shibuya, and Method Animation/Mediawan, currently planned for Q3 2027. 🤖✨
Even without Disney directly producing or owning it, a future Disney+ licensing or international distribution partnership could be a great way to introduce Astro Boy to audiences worldwide.
Hopefully, someday we can see a brand-new Astro Boy trailer included in a global animation trailer compilation like this! 🚀🤖✨

The animation of that Forgotten Island movie reminds me a lot of K-Pop Demon Hunters.
