Really enjoyed this documentary! You can see how much effort went into making it. 🌍✨

Hi MM. Thank you so much for putting up some very noisey footage of a clan of hyenas all gathered around an upside down buffalo carcass that I would assume was most likely killed by lions during the night, and they came & took it away.

Although it didn't, but the noise of the hyenas could so easily have drawn in a lion pride or whatever else was nearby. If lions had killed the buffalo, they may have got chased off.

I know noisey hyenas can also hunt and get their own food as well, but I think more often than not, they seem to choose to greedily punch kills from all the other predators quite a lot.

It is very rare and unusual for a clan of hyenas to kill a buffalo, but I suppose they could do if they had no option but to do so. Though I'm not sure, but I have a feeling they pinched it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did nick it of a pride of lions, as the head of the large skeletal carcass was upside-down in a pan of shallow muddy water. If they got it, I think they quite possibly would have eaten it alive until it died eventually.

It'll be interesting to see what or who will be in the next clip after today, but I hope it'll be a lion pride and/or a leopard pair been watched. Maybe a lion and leopard hunt could be on the cards for us next time. The cats sure are so interesting.

Hope to hear from you shortly.

I haven't seen three hyenas having so much fun. The three of them interacting in the water, chasing each other and playing with the stick, they looked like they'd been mates since they were pups, like young kids. Cheers for this incredible Heyena reel, Mala Mala...

Absolutely Fantastic seeing these Hyena's playing. Love the creatures I do. Never found out what happened to my beloved Corky !  Well Sad....

Wow, the very large bellied female, looks like she is close to dropping 1 or 2 cubs, she looks pregnant. Plus all the buffalo she's consumed, like eating for two more. Rangers what are your opinions, is she pregnant ? Yes they are so playful in the pans.. Thanks for this entertaining video.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the hyenas frolicking in the water.

great video thanks! Nice to hear the woodland kingfisher again!

People: "We wanna see lions!"
Hyenas: "Ok we're gonna change that..."
