Festival of Quilts at the NEC, Birmingham - oh my goodness where to start? What a fantastic show! I had the busiest week there. You might have already seen my set up vlog, this video is about my experience at Festival of Quilts.
I meet lots of interesting people, fabric designers, content creators and I got to meet actual Riley Blake!! You will see from my chats just how star struck I was! I also got to meet Cindy Cloward who is the owner of Riley Blake
I had help at Festival of Quilts from Mr Oakapple for two days, and then my friend Debbie took over for another couple of days.
We met so many lovely quilt show regulars, and everyone was wearing their best quilty creations.
I also went for a look around the quilts, which were totally AMAZING this year, many with powerful messages.
.
We also went to the Traders' Drinks evening, always a bit of a laugh, and Debbie and I enjoy being served by a robot at our hotel.
.
I was so please to meet many of my subscribers, some of which kindly bought me a cup of tea, and a couple even gave me special little gifts - I'll do a little show of those later.
.
I left the Festival of Quilts feeling totally inspired, uplifted and absolutely worn out - I can't wait for next year!!
Don't forget to check out @adamsews for excellent quilting content!
