Hi everyone, my new video is about a problem with retrofitting a range extender to the Bosch Smart System, as well as retrofitting it to e-bike models that don't originally offer a range extender.
So I installed the extenders from the company "Volabike" and tested them. All the advantages, disadvantages, and my experiences, as well as a comparative range test, are listed in my video.

Echt interessant, sowas von mies von Bosch, dass es auf dein Bike den Extender nicht gab, doch zum Glück gab es eine externe Lösung👌.
Wie immer super Erklärt und alles aufgezeigt, super einblendungen und die Aufnahme am Schluss von der Panzersperre bei Reschen/Nauders fand ich echt Hammer🤩.

Ganz interessant das alles. Habe mich gerade mal auf deren homepage umgeschaut.
Da ist bei den Sets immer die Rede von einem 2A Ladegerät das enthalten sei.
Heißt das ich muss den Extender immer separat mit einem eigenen Ladegerät laden?
Zur Zeit fahre ich Bosch Gen4 mit 625 Wh Einbauakku und dem alten 500 Wh zusätzlich auf dem Unterrohr.
Die sind parallel geschaltet. Laden beide gleichzeitig über die normale Ladebuchse.
Der beigelieferte Anschluß Adapter ist so riesig, das ich den nicht unter die Motorabdeckung bekommen habe !!
Ich habe das Exdender Akkukabel direkt ans Bosch Haupt Akkukabel parallel angeschlossen.
Kann man sich im Pedelec Forum anschauen. Gruß Mike

Antwort Volabike: Nein, man sollte immer beide Akkus, also Hauptakku und Extender vollgeladen gleichzeitg anschalten und nutzen.+++
