As a teacher if I would be seeing students at home. My priority would be to inform the parents and ensure that someone is home. Unfortunately no matter how much you care that doesn't give you the right to cross that line.

Just before they read the verdict, it cut off. It went to the next scene. 😫

Beautiful soul.. both inside and outside..misunderstood as a caring, loving Teacher and person..the students respond to her so well..she did nothing wrong except to care too much..All counselling should be done in official surroundings..and never in private homes.

Sorry, but this teacher’s judgement is awful with poor boundaries that deserved to be targeted and criticized.  Not only with the male student, but forming a “friendship “ with a female student.  Ridiculous.  She brought all of this on herself.

Her problem was she had such a big heart she was only trying to help a very troubled kid.  It was not her fault that she was beautiful and the troubled kid got the usual idea about her that most boys going through puberty go through.  One subject is always on their mind.  Her not returning to teaching was a good idea.

She's an innocent, natural teacher whose job is not only to teach but to care, to provide a shoulder to lean on. Even on the day of her first appearance in court, she still finds time to help a student with his assignment. I appreciate her husband's efforts too, lt's not easy on him. Despite that, he stands by her till the end. Her lawyer did a great job too. But she should be more care when issues like this involve an opposite sex. In all, it's a great film.
