I'm using the press as well, and had a friend that makes parts for space x drill and tap everything.
I love it. Made making stitch holes in thick leather so much easier.

Have to be careful with snaps and such. It's so easy to be too much pressure lol. The thing it really excels at is stamping the cool stamps from Tandys

I noticed when your foot is mounted your view is obstructed a little, if you mount your stitching foot on the right side near your handle you get a total view of your work.

O.k. it's settled, I have to buy an arbor press. It's a poor man's die cutter for leather.
