It’s like a mix between learning and comedy and I love this

this has to be my favorite snake education guy. we went to the bedroom and i lost it lmao

I just got my first snake EVER yesterday. She is super friendly and keeps exploring everything which i DIDNT expect at all 😭 i opened the tanks doors for a moment and she slithered onto me, shes only 70 grams and she is so friendly and so comfortable, im getting cuteness overload lol

If Clint's Reptiles is the Mr. Rogers of herp info, you are the Sesame Street.
(This is a compliment)

I like your emphasis on the animals being able to make their own choices. It’s def been a running theme on your channel.

I've watched this video at least 10 times because "These are my pajamas" will never stop being hysterical!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

“Join our cult, bring your snakes” 😂

I love that you also apologize when you accidentally scare your snakes. 😂

As a new keeper (1week) I’m finding your advice on care more than useful , and although mine fed great for my first time feeding , I’m going to try the hairdryer blowing the scent in trick . Thanks for everything 👍🏼

I just got my first snake 3 days ago and he's so chill he's 5 months old and so social I keep his enclosure on my desk and when I'm sitting there gaming he comes up to the corner of the enclosure closest to me and just looks at me it was time for a feeding the day I bought him so aside from the day I got him before feeding I haven't been able to hold him I decided to give it a little longer before handling him because I decided to upgrade him from mouse pups to fuzzy rats so I felt it was best to wait to hold him again but I'm dying to hold him he's too stinkin cute

I'm really, reaaaaally, thinking of getting a snake but I wanna really get educated, make sure of my decision and then get one. Thank you for your videos!!

Absolutely love your strategy for switching them to frozen/thawed! Definitely going to have to still the hairdryer trick!

Hi, how long do you keep them in quarantine?
Until what age do you consider them hatchlings?
Thanks for all the tips and tricks.  It's so helpful.  Makes me less nervous about getting my first ball next week. (6 months old)
Take care....

I just found your YouTube channel and I am binge watching while I am working. I am learning so much. Thank you for keeping things fresh and interesting, not to mention entertaining and funny.

I got a ball python like a few weeks ago. Pretty sure its a boy. He's 1.5 or 2ft long. Very friendly, always coming to the glass wanting me to take him out. I got a few questions but I think I'm figuring it out. I always take him out and when I put him back he wants to come out.

I brought my snake home the day after they fed her, had no idea until she was placed in the box, I was so nervous, luckily she made it home safely and I placed her in a small enclosure still inside the box and waited another 2 days then looked her over, had her for almost a year now

I appreciate this so much, sir, I am a new snake guardian and I have been researching but there's SO much information out there. Determined to get this right and so in love with my new little buddy, Nigel, I found your channel and feel confident in knowing I'm in a good place when it comes to my love for my little ball 🐍💞  Before I found you, I wasn't sure whether I should handle him much yet since I got him home and felt like it just wasn't the right thing to do as far as Nigel's perspective. It's been a week since he's been with me and today I get his new, large tank and I'm excited for this journey!! Thank you so much 💕

I think that the importance of setting up an enclosure a few days early cannot be overstated. I started mine a few days before getting my first BP, and after just a few hours my DHP blew out, but this gave me enough time to grab a CHE at my local pet shop and make sure everything was ready.

Started socialization basically immediately (hadn't seen the video and I have very excited kids) but in a single session per day during active periods. Snake was actually surprisingly bold. First night was pushing and climbing corners as high as he could, second night we socialized him, returning him to the tighter hide he had yet to discover. He comes back out, explores again and then returns to his hide. We let him explore a play pen during socialization (with like 4 hides in it, expecting he would choose one immediately) and he just kept exploring.  When I first offered the pen to him, he explored/checked a full 360 while anchored to my finger with the end of his tail.  For me this is a sign of the trust we are developing, he would rather the security of my limbs than the chance to dart off because I am showing him that I will always release him.

I then fed him on the same day the breeder was, waited till he was awake, he even took the thawed for the first time (but not until I accidentally dropped it on the bedding, that seemed to be key to recognizing it as prey).

I feel like you have to read them and their body language, if he was balled up, striking or totally inactive I would not have pushed on with handling sessions at that frequency.  You feel the snake tense as you pick it up and then you also feel his entire body relax in your hand 30 second later. With time I hope that period disappears completely but you have to acclimate animals and the younger the better, a little stress is okay, it's the prolonged stresses I don't want to create.

We need a hippe bob action figure🤣😂Love your videos as always Bob. Hilarious and educational a great mix!
