The game is Total War: Rome 2. Sorry, I didn’t expect this video to pop off and reach a wider Audience. Welcome!

"Emperor, a Carthaginian messenger has just arrived. They are requesting a 10-minute ceasefire as they are experiencing an unusual phenomenon called "lag"." 😂

I honestly love this idea. It would be cool to see more noob vs experienced player content. Maybe Pixie could interview some of the players before and after the match?

''These guys have NO heavy infantry whatsoever''
hovers over unit labeled VERY HEAVY MEELE INFANTRY''

Crazy how well this game holds up both visually and gameplay wise to the never titles. An absolute classic banger.

When you mentioned the Iceni’s lack of archers I realized that is likely why they put them up against the Romans, archers are MOSTLY ineffective against the heavy armor and shields of the Roman’s thus nullifying the Iceni’s greatest weakness

Love seeing Thrace out there, so much better than people give them credit for. Thracian warriors will chew through most anything they charge into, especially if you hit a flank and hold attention with spear goons or depleted skirmishers, and they have great skirmishers. Keep the cavalry off them, screen against archers and you're golden.

Incredible battle! I was in the voice Chat for the noobs (I'm a MP Noob) Hoping to be in the 2nd battle of the stream.
I was trying to assist them where I could (they actually had it under control for the most part) Remind the Rome player that he still had the Cav etc. The Cav outside the walls actually indirectly had the effect of turning it into a play for time, which was good! However maybe it would have been more effective if Rome had a few more infantry units and Egypt would bring some heavier shock cav that could do more damage like Hippeus Lancers. That's just an afterthought though.

Such a Close Fight!! Right up until 51 seconds from the end, nailbiting. GG

Hello, I was IKKE in this game, tysm that i was able to play in this game also a great battle!

I'm a week late, but I was surprised to see so many views on this video, and I'm very happy about it. I hope it gives you more visibility so you can continue gaining followers and finally reach a million.

I like the concept; it makes it interesting, providing challenges in the games so they're not just normal sieges. In my case, I'd like a siege where only pikemen and hoplites are allowed, with a very limited number of shock cavalry (meaning only Hellenistic and Greek factions), and where projectiles are prohibited (both in artillery and archer units, etc.).

It seems to me that the pros don't really get such a heavy disadvantage because of their factions. They have good factions against rome and Egypt in general. They have very good infantry units, so the only thing which can really hinder them is archers. And rome only gets 3. Pontos would be extremely good here in defense against iceni and especially edryssian kingdoms, instead of Egypt, or Rome. The have good infantry don't get me wrong. But factions like the edryssian kingdom are especially strong against exactly these units because of their infantry.

That was such a close game! Always excited to watch Apollo content. The pros really tested their experience on this grind! The lesser experienced players proved themselves in the defense! I was on the edge of my seat the entire game! Great to see more videos PA! Keep going strong!

yo thanks for letting me play i was pontus. Really like the rome 2 content hope to see it more often.

The first to equip their siege pants with some snacks and drinks 🔥

I’d love to see a noobs vs pro game where “pros” are like a “speciality” advisor force and gives direction to the noobs.

Hello, I was hazzacr2412 (Egypt), this event was so fun and really close. I was so glad i could play since i've watched apollos rome 2 videos for a long time and being in one of them was great. Also the reason i stayed back and left the middle open is because i had some units further forwards but they started getting hit by artillery so i pulled them back.

Damn, I've watched you over the years and you never stop being great. Keep the passion and fun up! I know it can't be easy to stay this positive each video, so kudos for making us come back to watch videos like this and knowing that when you say "bring the popcorn", it's not click-bate but you know you're up for a great video!

Man, i've been a bit away from your channel lately and i dont even know why, maybe it's yt's algorithm, but it soooo comforting every time you say "get snacks and drinks".

36:51 "you know, its rough to see them UUHH, artillery is coming in too... its rough to see them UUHH"

1:10 man stuff like this reminds me of that one time I noticed random pheasant tried attacking my king( yes the king himself) in attila.
