When Tom speaks of his early years as an actor he tends to talk of the rejections. Yet in this conversation, and another i/v he did we find out that he was discovered right back from his second term at Cambridge, aged 19 - spotted by a London agent who offered to be Tom's. So there he was just be being seen on stage. The same thing happened in most of his stage plays, here we hear how Kenneth Branagh, saw him, contacted him the next day, and from there came two more performances and Wallander, all with Kenneth. He is magnetic - to see him is to want to see more of him.

The way he expresses himself is captivating. I could listen to him speak all day about his career or anything really. His diversity and range to be able to play so many different characters is really astounding.

I can relate to Jonathan Pine. Nothing is more enfuriating than trying to be a patriot and serve my country, and the company I work for doesn't have a single drop of loyalty to our country.
