These GIANT Fish were Piled Up in This TINY SPOT

Southern Salt

There’s nothing quite like a TOPWATER EXPLOSION! In this video, I’m fishing inshore with the Southern Salt APEX Topwater, searching for speckled trout and redfish willing to absolutely CRUSH a bait on the surface.

I’ll show you how I work the APEX, the areas I’m targeting, and what I look for when trying to trigger aggressive topwater strikes. Whether you’re chasing trout across shallow flats or hunting redfish along the shoreline, watching one blow up on a topwater never gets old!

If you enjoy inshore saltwater fishing, make sure to LIKE the video, SUBSCRIBE, and let me know in the comments what your biggest topwater trout or redfish has been!

Just caught an upper slot red on a hoodwink yesterday. I was heading back to the launch on my kayak after losing a flounder and a trout and only landing a lizard fish. I heard bait splashing near some oysters up shallow. I kept casting where I saw the bait getting chased and finally after like 10 minutes got the red to bite. I get about 1 fish a trip so it made my day. Absolutely awesome action on that lure!

Another great video...that red was very nice, gotta love the fight.

At the end, I can't tell you how many times I have pulled my fishing partner around as I have a powered kayak and he doesn't

Man, the colors of that sunrise, the water, the tree's, the grass... sigh. Making me miss living in that area of the gulf coast.

What do you think crabbing is going to be like after the storm? Also, I saw a shrimp trawl to pull behind my fish pro sport, have you ever tried it on your ski?

Newport Vessels can kiss 💋 my azz after the BS they pulled on my warranty. A brand new unit used it 2 times and it went out. They refused to honor the warranty and offered me 25% off a new unit, when they couldn't buy me off cheap the offered me a 50% a new unit. I told them where they could stick that new unit...
