Ta Bi looks like a competition winner. He's absolutely horrendous

We’ve played 3 teams on fire form-wise,each one probably the most in-form PL team when we’ve played them, and they’ve beat us.   Brighton took Arsenal apart.   Bad run but not a disaster.

Bang in trouble utterly woeful Angulo is shocking and Danso continues to get picked despite mistake after mistake.

Spurs, who we’ve all laughed at for being woeful are now 1 point behind us. Let that sink in. 1 point.

We need a positive swing in momentum and it needs to happen soon. Bournemouth is a must win now.

Rouffs was caught on half way line on a few occasions and nearly lobbed in their half, what the fook??

Its a million miles away from being anywhere near good enough.
Le Bris must have been pissed on the touchline with them substitutions.
Wheres Rigg, Where's Talbi... what the hell is he doing taking Le Fee off

What is quite remarkable is that we played the top four in our last four games so we do need to take that into consideration. Having said that, Brighton played well against Arsenal but they were there for the taking today, I thought. Brentford: we should have been 2-0 up and we didn't take our chances. We should have scored against Arsenal to go ahead and instead they went up the other end after we missed the pen and scored. Against City they punished every mistake. If you think about it, things could be very, very different but now here we are because nothing went our way and we're worried

My inner feeling is we all love Granit. Last season without him we struggled. Maybe Granit is going through stuff? He will be back if so, but we've needed a backup and possibly time to play him in Europe.

Am I wrong in thinking our last goal from a corner was Ballard against cov??

Agree with you completely Taff. I wrote my comment before you mentioned about the subs. Rigg and Talbi must start playing.

For perspective, we have played the top 4 premier league teams in our last 4 games so the results dont conern me but this performance did today. We cannot beat a team that plays in a low block, we never seem to have the inventiveness to do break them down, any team in the league can beat us by doing it.  Fofana makes some great runs but rarely receives the pass, we insist on going  backwards to start again. Today we failed to play to our players strengths, if we can't adapt to our fringe players while we rotate the squad, we need to give up on all competitions outside of the the premier league.

Starting to be a worry now and can't use Europe as an excuse

Brighton also in Europe.  We had to play 2 legged play-offf. We are doing alright and missing loads of players injured atm. Things can get better for you. You have played the top 3 atm. Get win doing week and hopefully you will get back.

Ok we lost to a team who scored 16 goals and let in 5, I don't think we can go ott on this result . We have a lot of games in a short space of time , let's judge us after the next 8 games or so . Not good today but we're still a very good squad and plenty of games to look forward to.

I said this would be a tough game but to lose 2 Nil against 10 men and play against 10 for 35+ minutes and not be able to score is a disgrace and quite embarrassing IMO and it just shows how awful we are as an attacking side, honestly I think Man City was just a fluke cos let's be real it was the same last season, the only reason why we got away with it was apart from the Nottingham Forest game we were absolutely solid at the back, this season it's getting worse, we still can't score goals and we conceding far too many, I'm not calling for RLBs head yet but so far this season I think his stubbornness and being so negative in his approach is gonna get him sacked soon unless he changes his ways, I hate saying that but if his plan A goes out the window of being solid at the back and winning by the odd goal he's got absolutely no answer, don't get me started on team selections and subs, I was saying this last season as well so it's not being reactive but this playing people out of position and not picking certain players is absolutely killing us, only Sunderland can have 3 RBs in a squad and have them all playing from the start, I know we're playing Brighton who are a good side but it's so negative playing with 1 winger and have more on the bench, the Talbi one has drove me crazy for ages, RLB has already shown that he prefers Angulo who works hard but very rarely does anything over Talbi who by stats is our best winger but RLB doesn't like him for work rate or cos he's bad in training I don't know but the fact that Ta Bi comes on ahead of him tells u everything, put it this way if RLB is still manager come January Talbi is gone and to be honest he should go cos he's got far to much talent and ability to be stuck on the bench, going forward Bournemouth is a must win now, if we get beat off them then we are in massive trouble this season, I'm looking forward to Thursday but the premier League still has to be our top priority cos right now we're miles away from what we were last season

I would have took Roefs off and put O9 in goal

Why does every winger we buy never wants to beat a man on the outside ???

Winger is just a tough position to be in trouble in...it's an expensive wound to heal.  Fofana price tag of ~ 35m is about the bottom price you have to pay in order to get any sort of quality at the position.

I like the look of Fofana at least (he at least moves off the ball and creates chances/puts crosses in like a winger)

Angulo is milessss off it on the wing man...had a few great opportunities to create a chance and then just looks like he has two odd feet and crosses the ball directly into the defender...he doesn't create chances, he doesn't whip crosses in, he doesn't do ANYTHING at winger you'd want from a winger...

And then RLB puts Ta Bi in over Talbi, why is he intentionally putting in a weaker player where Talbi there is the obvious sub on...RLB needs to get it together...putting in a player you were trying to loan out to a lower league instead of the player that has proven to be a producer at this level before is just ego getting in the way of pragmatism....has to be final nail in coffin for Talbi caring about this club at all.

Xhaka was poor

We miss Brobbey badly.

The clubs failure at getting a true quality RW, coupled with RLB's desire to play a RB up at RW instead of our other options, has now bit us fully with Meunier going down, lowering our depth even further at the back.  Playing a 35 year old at RW having him run after balls into space is just baffling decision in terms of trying to keep him fit through the year haha

Looking forward to a rotated squad in against Torreense on Thursday and hopefully we can just batter them and get Diarra up to fitness and ready to get back into the fold, we need him.

Hate to be so negative, but we are down this season. Talbi is clearly frozen out, so is angulo and fofana going to create and chip in with goals? No they’re not. Isidor isn’t suited to holding the ball up, it’s not his game m, he’s simply not strong enough. We are dodgy at the back, and struggle for goals unless it’s a le fee penalty or Brobbey. Now look at all the other sides, Ipswich look good, hull look ok, teams like Fulham, palace, Bournemouth, Everton will probably be ok, I honestly think we might be going down,  pray I’m wrong 🙏

Pathetic performance Brighton didn’t even have to get out of second gear to win that nothing up front worrying times i’m afraid
