I had been learning Japanese for already about 10 months before I had started this challenge.  What percentage of influence this had on my studies and retention rate I don't know so I can only infer based on what the stats are telling me here.

Most of my points are made in the video and I would love to test this theory a little more extensively to see how far it can be taken.  If you have any experience with this, please let me know!
