The JP cast is adorable, I love their pitches

RIP James Carter Cathcart, who voiced Vector in Sonic X.

It's really cool to see most of the japanese VAs have stayed the same since the beginning.

Didn't know roger voiced omega 🫠

Fun fact: Knuckles japanese VA also voices Guts from Beserk. Sage's JP and English voice actors both voice Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion

Jotaro voices Silver?!?! Makes sense, both deal with traveling in time

AHHHH im so glad that bryce's voice for silver is closer to daisuke ono's voice acting. i appreciate pete capella but i have always preferred silvers japanese voice and seeing his english va bring some of that roughness onto the table takes me happy <3

I really do respect that many of the jp voice cast has been mostly consistent. Despite sonic's lack of popularity in jaoan. I bet to many of these VAs these roles are minor footnotes. But they still stick around.

Its just not very common in the west

金丸さんも広橋さんもいつまでもお元気でいてほしい。

Still crazy that only Mike Pollock got to stick around from the Sonic X cast in the English VA. Ridiculous

That funny both JP and English for Wave also voiced Sakura.

0:42 I did not expect Michelle ruff to come back after so long

2:02 And Rouge has the same voice actor as Kurenai?!😮😱🤯😶‍🌫️

Im actually shocked that Kate Higgins voices Wave, she used to voice Tails until Colleen took over

Wave has both Sakura from Naruto’s English and Japanese voice.

4:51 Dodon Pa, Big, Gohan, and Aizen share the same voice actor as Ryu?!😮😱🤯😶‍🌫️

I really like the Japanese Sonic voice cast more because many of the voice actors voiced each character for so long although a few voice changes like Eggman’s due to the former VA’s passing. It feels like listening to the same character, not different like the English cast. My favourite Junichi Kanemaru’s Sonic is still killing it with his lovely voice! 💙

The Sonic and Dragon Ball comparisons will never die

its crazy to think Big the Cat a very aloof and easy going guy shares a voice actor with Ryu from Street Fighter

Big and Donkey Kong sharing the same Japanese VA is something I didn’t know but I love that I know now.
