If the developer watches these, I think what Dex is saying is that he wants a Shrine Maiden character that does something like get one wrench every 5 levels and one beacon every 20 levels (or similar equivalent stats, so like every level gets +1% shrine effects, every 10 levels is +1 shrine in the next level, and they start with +5 shrines per stage so that the first stage has 20).

Saying "echo shard! WRENCH!!!" whilst having 100 wrenches is hilarious

All these legendary's he keeps getting at such low luck reminds me of when I got 6 commons in a row with 1200% luck. 🙃

Just looking at the numbers here shows that wrenches also work on (probably) hyperbolic scaling flattening out at ~10x the normal amount.
