First off, thank you John for the videos like this that help me get to speed on both the boats and the latest electrical propulsion. Okay, I'm a total newby to both. I like this electrical propulsion on a kayak for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I'm a fly fishing guy who like to chase smallies (for miles) so a hands-free boat is my ultimate goal. I think the small remote, blue tooth, or some other wireless connection is great but you still need to malipulate (handle) the control- right? What if the motor control aspects could be totally controlled by voice app through your cell phone and the hand-held could be your backup? Seems to me that would eliminate all the pedals et al; have an old fashion double blade paddle just in case.

Hey brother, I’ve been chuckling through your video. It’s been a hoot but I got a question for you. Have you not had a modern remote controlled car boat helicopter drone because it’s basically a remote controlled vehicle. Matter of fact, a lot of the tech is jumping into marine stuff anyway I just thought that was funny. You’re probably find out. You can do some adjustments to turning inside an app maybe just hope it’s not like Bixby does and doesn’t let you into their controller board.
So anyway, awesome video. Great production is always. Remember I was teasing in love.🤔🫢😆

Hey buddy, it’s me again. The remote remember how you paired it so you can use any remote control on the market that has that type of signal so most of your remote controlled cars planes, quad copter helicopters and yes, I’m sure they have a base unit that you could mount somebody 3-D printer one for that remote that way you could snap in and snap out.

Hey man, how's it going? Here in Brazil, kayaks with outboard motors have become a reality; kayakers are using 5hp, 9.9hp, 15hp, and even 25hp motors—largely due to major kayak tournaments—and these are known here as "high-performance" kayaks.
