The Kawagoe Festival is here!
It's been three years since my last one, and I'm really looking forward to it.
This incredible festival is Saitama's pride and joy, and is both a nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Site.
Since the video is long, it's divided into two parts: the first half shows the festival grounds, and the second half shows the floats being pulled.
So, first, I'll show you what the festival grounds look like!
