Wait, you're not using 1k RC car springs or 100k Bic pen springs. Just an actual car spring? You never cease to amaze.

Hey man, a cool trick to drilling round stock like that is to chuck the drill bit in upside down then lower it down and clamp the bit in the vise. Then chuck the round stock. Kinda like a lathe. I was able to drill an 1/8th" hole in 3/16” aluminum.

Dude NEVER apologize, for natural sounds of work, it is without a doubt the craftsman's harmony,

Looks like a great kitchen, utility knife or field knife

Can we appreciate how perfect this is?

Toaist saying of the day:

The mark of the true master craftsman is not that his work is free of mistakes but that after years of hard use one is still unable to find where he repaired them.

The end product looks beautiful, and I think the cheeky little handle hack actually enhances it.

I would gladly accept that as a gift thank you very much. As much as you put it down it still showed it’s beauty.

This looks like a great all around kitchen knife to me.

In this video a master of the craft of knife making beats any knife i made in an exponential fashion while not even knowing the exact steel

From a guy who just started forging, the narrating helps a ton. So many skilled craftsmen on YouTube, but you're the first I've seen to explain your process

The end result is beautiful with nice lines. If it was in front of me, I would have tried to buy it. It's a treat to see how you went about making it, learning your techniques and mistakes.

I found it inspiring, because that is exactly the issues I come up to. I also found your honesty refreshing, but you did not need to be apologetic. As some one commented, I also love watching your videos and often out of the box thinking. the shape of your knife really appeals to me and the wood is lovely and pleasing to the eye. Thank you so much.
