First, second, third, and all other places before, after, and in between!

Don’t forget to check the second channel out! Link in the description!

I feel like at the time, Speed Racer was the only American Live Action anime to stay true to the spirit of its source material, at least until Netflix’s One Piece.

I remember seeing Speed Racer (2008) in the theater. I find it criminally underrated, and I’m glad it’s gotten a cult following.

The Speed Racer movie is imo one of the greatest movies of all time, it's such a shame it never got the love it deserved when it came out, it really was ahead of it's time. It's really nice seeing a lot of people expressing their love for it these days though, it's because of people talking about it that I checked it out and I am so glad I did, I loved it from start to finish!

Go, Speed Racer!

I don't care what the critics say, this movie rules. I'm not a huge Wachowski fan, but they understood the assignment here. They made a live action cartoon and it was awesome.

"Go Speed Racer! Go Speed Racer! Go Speed Racer Goooo!!" I absolutely love this movie! Even now! 🏁

God I wish I were collecting the Lego sets or the Hot Wheels cars back when this movie came out, it's literally one of the very few anime adapted into live action that don't suck

FunFact: What Happens in Vegas came out the same weekend and made more money that weekend.

Prince Caspian also came out the next weekend

I’ll say this about the target audience point: I was 8 when the film came out and, with no knowledge of anything having to do with Speed Racer aside from a vague ad, my dad took me to go see it on a whim & I was in LOVE with it by the time it was over 😭
I think there’s merit to the “ahead of its time” idea bc a lot of what I like about it now isn’t stuff kid me would’ve even grasped, it’s a very layered film more people should dissect! Enjoyed this vid!

It’s a rarity for a live action adaptation become better than whatever the heck Race To The Future was.

The movie is well done in terms of plot, message, and cool looking cars!
And the GRX in this film is safer to drive than in the original Anime.

This movie is such a damn gem just like redline. The bith of them are easily some of the best racing movies out there.

My mom got me into Speed Racer when I was little, then my dad took my sister and I to see the movie when it came out. The movie has been one of my favorite movies ever made ever since.

Don’t forget about the tie in video game. Peak racing game, on my mother I will fight and defend how good it is.

I love this movie. it’s one of the only live action anime adaptations to stay true to the original source material, the other I know being Netflix’s one piece.

This was my gateway to Anime. I was like 4 or 5.

Whoo boy. Still remember seeing that on its opening weekend… …and remembered just how massive its marketing campaign was. I even recall having a Speed Racer blanket.

So happy it’s finally getting the attention it deserves.

This film was definitely a mind blowing experience when I saw it in theaters as a kid.

He's going over that cliff!

I bet you’re gonna do a compilation of all three of these Speed Racer videos at some point now that this is finally out.

Speed Racer is yet another racing thing I enjoy that is pretty underapreciated (alongside the Hot Wheels cartoons and Motorcity of course). It’s pretty ahead of its time and also the best live action remake in my opinion.
