Airheads - is it a Bad Movie?

Bad Movies Rule!

AIRHEADS MOVIE REVIEW | When a band can’t get their demo played, there’s only one logical solution—take a radio station hostage. Airheads (1994) follows three starving rockers armed with water guns and zero brain cells as they stumble their way into the most chaotic publicity stunt ever. Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi, and Adam Sandler play the The Lone Rangers (yes, I know), and somehow, they’re still not the dumbest people in the room. Does it rock? Does it bomb? Either way, it’s gonna get loud. What did you think of Airheads?

I think this movie makes more sense for people who were in bands and trying to get a record contract. The struggle that they have is real.

I love airheads ever since 1994. It’s the 90s cheesy version of dog day afternoon. Chazz yelling Rodney King was a nod to Dog Day Afternoon when Al Pacino yells “Attica!” (Another police mishap). Airheads is full of plotholes.. I mean at the end all 3 of them are on stage with no guns, so how are they holding anyone hostage?.. also the funniest to me was the whole time Chazz and his girlfriend are fighting “I wrote this song for you!! The whole world is gonna hear your song!!” and then the song has nothing to do at all with a relationship, it’s all about a kid named Johnny getting wasted. But it’s just such a fun movie, and so cool seeing all these people who went on to have bigger careers all have their moments in This.
