In its barometer conducted by OpinionWay and published in October 2024, ADEME (the French Agency for Ecological Transition) estimates that only 9% of French people consider the environment their top concern. According to the same survey, 38% of French people identify as climate change skeptics, compared to 25% in 2019.
But why are the key players in our society doing little or nothing? Why is environmental action so unpopular?
Jean-Marc Jancovici and Father Olric de Gélis will meet at the Collège des Bernardins to discuss this topic in a special debate.
The event will be moderated by Alexandre Wirth.
