He asked Ronaldo to warm up but didn't use him. Then in a press confefence didn't read out a forced apology note for that heinous crime...? This is like bad video game stuff. Ronaldo posting this thinking he's in the right shows just how destructive he is to that team. That is not a team player that's an out and out diva. Even if he was 28 and in his prime that would be inexcusable... let alone when hes 41 and wrecks the teams gameplan

Next: Ronaldo to play for Saudi Arabia National Team until age 45

Even if Cristiano's telling the truth, he's still supposed to be a professional – sometimes things happen, people miscommunicate, people do dodgy stuff, but if you're a "legend" you're supposed to be professional about it regardless.

Ronaldo is truly a prima donna.

CR7 really handed Jorge Jesus 8 COMMANDMENTS to read at a press conference, but JESUS looked at them and said, “Nah, I’m the only savior here.”

Im sorry Shaka, most professional teams wont have 41 year old in their team. This is a courtesy extended to a player like ronaldo. Move on from this controversy and stop holding the coach accountable.

Maradona and Pele both have World Cups 😂

Where the heck is Ale Moreno during this whole Ronaldo saga.

Jesus did cover those 8 points, from a letter that Ronaldo's representative gave him, in a press conference  and did even make the analogy to Pele and Maradona, but you see Ronaldo wanted Jorge Jesus to to read the letter word for word with a tone of remorse and guilt. And when Jesus once again declared his authority as a coach. That irked him to the point of abandoning the national team, because the real intention of Ronaldo was for Jorge Jesus to humiliate himself.

Come on Shaka! Things change! They were winning the game! You want JJ to risk losing a game just to keep this "promise" to Cristiano? He asked him if was was capable of playing 30 minutes IF NEEDED!
I can't believe anyone defends this behaviour, especially after that statement JJ was supposed to read. What an egomaniac!

You guys don't really understand this situation. Regardless of what happened in the match, people are annoyed that Ronaldo and an AlNassar official made an 8 point statement for the National coach without the president of the Portuguese Federation knowledge. Also remember that Ronaldo has a controlling stake in some media here. To see that television station follow Jesus home and show everyone his car licence plate and where he lives was a kind of harassment.
So I don't think you really understand the depth of this story. Ronaldo will be unlikely to play for Jesus again.

Why should Ronaldo dictate when he plays and how many minutes. What if he told Ronaldo he would play 30 minutes but based on how the game is going he didn't think Ronaldo was the right person to come on. Isn't the coaches job to decide who plays or not..

So he wants the national team coach to say "I made a mistake by sending a player of the stature of pele or maradona to warm up. Only to not bring him on"??? He actually wrote that. These are things he says in public
Imagine how bad things are when therr are no camera. What an absolute clown.

Forget all the garbage on the letter. The fact that he went public about personal conversations between the manager and Portuguese federation is a massive breach of trust that could be irreversible. There’s no use in bringing him back considering he’s completely washed as a player since 2022 and restricts the team, and it’s becoming more and more clear that his team mates dislike him. I don’t understand how his career has dragged on this long and how they still entertain it

Cr7 is the real drama queen 😂😂😂😂.

I wish Don was on yesterday. He would have smashed Stevie!! I am completely with Don!!

That was the last time Don does  commentary for Al nasir. 😂

The most disappointing part of all these is that Portugal won all four matches, he is claiming disrespect, but now he disrespects the coach, the other players, fans and the country.
What would be prefer... Win a game or play for himself

producer must’ve told Shaka to change his tone and argue from Ronaldo’s standpoint. it’s comical that he’s changed his reasoning and created excuses for the man when this statement has only shown how much more problematic and obsessive he is

Ronaldo missed the right window to retire.
