Why Didn’t Scar Recruit Zira? 🔥🦁

In The Lion Guard, Scar returns as a fiery spirit and builds an army—but Zira and her Outsiders are nowhere to be seen. Why? 🤔

🔥 Zira may have already been dead – The Lion Guard takes place after The Lion King 2.
🔥 Different goals – Zira wanted revenge, while Scar aimed to reclaim power.
🔥 Scar may have seen her as a failure – Her plan ultimately failed.
🔥 His magic only worked on non-lion animals – His army was mostly hyenas, jackals, and crocodiles.
🔥 A creative decision – The writers may have wanted to keep the stories separate.

What do you think? Why did Scar ignore Zira? Let me know in the comments!

I have a theory that Zira was in the army of Scar but she was a secret member and she was waiting for the right moment when Kion and his lion guards were no longer in the pride lands

Well Zira and her family were roared out of The Outlands before Scar was brought back! So maybe Zira wasn't in Scar's army because she didn't know Scar was brought back!

She Only Knew About about Scar's Lion Guard Not About Royal Stuff Or Even That Spirits Could Return,She Never Even Tried To Talk To Jasiri In The Lion Guard Probably, Maybe Not Even Scar's Army That She Let Them talk for a minute and Scar Can Be seen in The Lion King 2 At the End of Kovu's exile Song and Knew In The Lion Guard that he should Send janja to talk to zira like he send him last time to unite the jackals but zira didn't listen She probably never even knew scar plotted/allied with the Hyenas in the 1st film

These are logically considered the main reasons why Zira and her pride are not in Scar's army:
1. Scar's spirit and Zira did not know of each other's whereabouts.
2. If Zira and her pride were recruited by Scar's spirit, Zira and her pride are far capable to be independent. This could cause problems.
3. Scar's spirit and Zira have different plans.

I think that Lion King II has given us an inaccurate view of Zira and Scar's relationship. Based on how zealous Zira is, we merely assume that she and Scar were lovers - her being his Queen, and her children being his heirs. However, we're not really given any evidence of that, and what we're left with instead is the opinions of the characters who are incredibly biased.
Granted, the simple answer is Zira and her loyalists weren't a concept when the Lion King was first made. But still, what evidence do we really have that Scar even remotely cared for Zira?
How do we know that Zira wasn't just an incredibly loyal Zealot who changed the narrative to make it seem like she and Scar were closer than that? Heck, we don't even have any evidence that any of Zira's children are Scar's - and considering that Scar was willing to choose Kovu as his heir - if that narrative is true - then Scar didn't seem concerned about passing along his own genes.
