The entire cast were perfect for their parts. It's a timeless masterpiece. Kate could not have been better cast, she was meant to play this part, as all other movies fade, the LOTR will live on forever.

Galadriel: 5 minutes of screentime, timeless performance.

Every other cast member: "-Oh my God The Lord of the Rings!"
Cate Blanchett: "-Oh my God Braindead!"

The only Galadriel to ever GRACE the screen

The way she perfectly read out the lore at the beginning of the movie stands out in my brain all the time. I never read the books and the movies came out when I was still a boy. So when I heard her perfect and ethereal dialogue introducing me into this world for the very first time, I truly felt something incredible. She is the voice that opened my eyes to the wonder and awe that is the fantasy world of LOTR

If you watch Cate Blanchett's performance, she continues to act with reactions, emotions and depth during the silence and between the lines. It's a thrill to watch a master craftsman at work.

I can't wait for Episode 36: Becoming Lurtz

"...as a young child, he developed a strong desire to find halflings, not knowing who or what they were..."

Wow. It sure seemed like she had a lot more screen time.

Cate Blanchett has a unique voice, her cadence and low pitch are a great tool for her roles

Cate showed how quiet power works... in all the movies.

The more I watch of these episodes, the more I realize how absolutely unique the cast was and ever will be...

Sean Astin said the same about the salary-he got $250,000 as a flat fee for all 3 films. The actors signed on for all three films on one contract, so they couldn't negotiate higher fees for the 2nd or 3rd film.

I use “I will diminish and go into the west, and remain Jimmy.” every time I leave a room.

I don't think I ever got so emotional as I did when I first saw Cate Blanchett as Galadriel.
My whole body just seemed to freeze as though I was held by some emotional force.
It was pure perfection. I could never have imagined the power of her acting in those scenes.
She wore those ears very well.
