Not only one of the strongest man that ever lived, but also a good person.
We truly need more people like Paul Anderson in our time...

Paul's neck is insane! Even from a young age!

People like Paul motivate me to pick up even heavier objects

Excellent account on this lifting legend.
In 1973, I had an opportunity to move with my company to Atlanta, GA. While there a co-worker brought me a clipping from the Atlanta paper. The article described Paul Anderson stopping on the highway to assist with a serious car accident. A woman was trapped in her car by impact damage. The article stated that Anderson literally ripped the car door off to free the woman. What a guy!

His dad was a hero too because he invested in his sons dreams and must have been so proud and he literally became the worlds strongest man in all the world

He came to my school to give his Christian Testamony. He demonstrated his strenght by lifting the entire cheerleading team of  6 girls ( probably about 660 lbs. not including the patform). He was very humble and friendly. Proud to nave met him !

I actually met him when I was in Jr High. He came to our church & gave a religious talk to the kids in the confirmation class & then performed some feats of strength, including his back-lift. Then he mingled with us & signed some autographs. I had started lifting by then so I had a brief chat with him.

A big man with a big heart, rest in power Paul🙏

Yes he was! The soviet russians marveled in sheer awe at the spectacle of superhuman power that Paul Anderson was, his feats of strength are hard to even fathom and have stood unrivaled for many decades. Super American Super Strength Athlete 🇺🇸💪🏼 There is a statue honoring him in his hometown.

His not having access to or using PED's puts him in a separate category from todays strength athletes. He truly was an is the Greatest Ever Natural Strength Athlete from the US. To know he did much of the lifting after suffering Bright's disease as a child, lifting through multiple injuries and while in his twenties makes him all the more respected.

Paul was a man of strenght ,integrity & quality

My dad got to be good friends with Paul. Once they got a flat tire with no jack to lift the car. They loosened the lug nuts, Paul lifted the car and dad swapped on the spare.
He always said how Paul was just the kindest guy.

What an all around outstanding human being

Excellent video!  I met Paul Anderson in the 1970's through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He was a big man with a big voice!  His love for troubled kids drove him to establish the Paul Anderson Youth Home.  His love for Jesus Christ compelled him to use his influence to guide many youth to Christ.  A truly remarkable man.

really appreciate the clarification on no ai use

I wish YT would put up a division for AI generated videos so they aren't mixed in and confused with human made content. I don't even like computer narration. Thanks for your work in doing it the 'real' way. 👍

Thank you for another brilliant video, you did Paul proud

Notice how nicely he puts the barbells down vs today's athlete's drop from overhead to the floor.

I played what was a YMCA sponsored sports program for 4th through 6th grade boys.
Paul Anderson came to the local YMCA and I was lucky enough to one of 10 (more?) boys he had to sit on a custom table that he got under and lifted.  He repeated that with other kids out of the crowd.  That was around 1967.  He also held out his arms with two kids on each.  He was like a tree.  Also fortunate to meet Man Mountain Dean
