This is one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. Period!!   The interplay between the musicians is absolutely amazing. 🤩 It Is as if they are one living organism expressing the ❤️ love they have for life through music!  Brilliant 👏🏿 👏🏿 👏🏿 This album should be studied by any musician who desires to reach their full potential as a creator 😀

incredible!

Graceful.  Powerful.  A true innovator.

We should thank European television and film for documenting all of these great musicians' work. 🤔

Batera genial, um dos melhores do jazz !!!💯👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Max's great quartet at work, pushing the boundaries of the music.  As I have said in the past, Max is the king of jazz drumming, while others have made major contributions, Max reigns supreme.

🎼🪄✨...Yesterday, January 10th, was Max Roach's Birthday !!!...All the best, much love to The Family,

MAX NEVER FALLS IN A MUSICAL TRAP!  HE'S WAY AHEAD OF IT, ALWAYS!  ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

고맙습니다

ハードロックばかり聴いていた自分を、ジャズ沼にハマらせたのは、間違いなくこのピアノレスカルテットだ。

super chido. Del uno

still love his work!!

Wow!

This is a great band too!

Max is so cool 😎🥁

I always felt that Max missed the 60's avant grade train.  But, he definitely tried from the 70's onward.  There's some really good stuff out there in his later period.  Love this!

At 11:38, Roach begins a long solo by playing the rhythm to “Mop Mop” (also known as “Boff Boff”), to which he continues through the solo.
