Perhaps the reason the river colors are green, orange, and violet is because the negative investiture entity flipped the colors from a "positive" red, green, and blue.

I saw this theory on the zuhel bond, and I think it makes the most sense.
Nahel bond: cognitive Connection
Luhel bond: physical Connection
Zuhel bond: spiritual Connection

It harmonizes Realmatic theory with the bonds we know about.

You should’ve shouted out the return of the Dougs!

At the first point the prophet was mentioned and Hoid described him as "grouchy" I immediately knew it was Vasher😂😂 And then everything fell even more into place until it was all but confirmed by name

7:46 glad my art class from college wasn’t wasted. ;-)

Remember Brandon Sanderson read an excerpt about a spoiled princess who goes on a quest to kill a dragon. Perhaps that will be another Secret Project to be announced at DragonSteel 2026

So... Godsflame is probably from the Godforge, right?

I feel like there's a chance he was talking about the shattering of Adonalsium, but the wording seemed vague enough that I was wondering if Hoid saying his self identity includes "accidentally helping cause the fundamental collapse of all reality as we know it" in chapter 23 is referring to some other event we haven't seen yet...

14:02 wait what about Starling’s parents?

I thought for tress of the emerald sea the story was being told on first of the sun? in their hoid mentions a story of linji, who attempted to circumnavigate the world with out any aviar, as if the listener was already familiar with the story

Good video friend, i liked

I want a video about the bonds plsss

...Destroy, you say?

Capital I Inspiration.

The bonds seem pretty obvious to me.

The Nahel bond is with a Splinter of some kind, be it Spren, Seon, or otherwise. It's the bond with a sentient piece of a Shard, and probably what you'd technically call the bond with the Shard of Honor now that it's developed its own consciousness.

The Luhel bond is with some form of Aether, be it spores or some other form of their specific influence. We've only ever seen it cost water, both with sand mastery and those on Lumar who use spores.

The Zuhel bond, following the logic of the above, would be with a different kind of entity that grants the bonded person power, and I would wager that type of entity is a Negative Investiture Entity.

In Fires we're shown that Demons feed on compliments, and it's implied that bonding and controlling one is a matter of imposing your will upon it. While the Nahel bond is about forming a symbiotic partnership with a Splinter, and the Luhel is essentially gaining power from a parasitic relationship with Aethers, the Nahel seems to sort of amalgamize the two with the user being sort of predatory/parasitic by imposing their will upon the Entity to draw power from it, albeit at the cost of something from the user, when the Entities are shown to respond strongly to thoughts/perceptions of them.

The Dakwara itself is an Entity, and through either imposed will or centuries of perception based on legends, it has the form of a gigantic snake, and when someone bests it and imposes their will upon it... it obeys. Cakoban seems to have formed a Zuhel bond with the Dakwara so strong that it endured over the years and shaped the entire being of the Dakwara. Likewise, what we see of December learning how to control Demons/Entities near the end of the book seems to be similar in nature, offering something of herself (songs, all of which she forgets), and after the exchange, being able to control them and their form.

I'd imagine that what happens at the climax is specifically not a Zuhel bond. We've seen the Zuhel bond before but never had a name for it. What December does is to reach out, establish a connection with Beautiful within the Megalith, and form a truly symbiotic bond with an Entity. Given that most if not all of the entities we've seen to date are functionally mindless, or at least run purely on instinct, it may not have been possible to do so before, but the unique circumstances of the Megalith, being the massive entity it is and having consumed countless others, on top of having centuries of existing in the state it did, may have allowed its pieces to form sentience in a way that no other Entity has been able to before. When December forms a genuine bond with Beautiful and uses it to take control of the entire Megalith, she's formed something that resembles the Nahel bond, but with an entity that should be incapable of forming one by its very nature. She's somehow turned what should be a mutually parasitic relationship into something symbiotic.

All in all, I'm excited to see more about the mechanics of it all, but ultimately, the bonds seem to simply refer to the type of being/power it is formed with, and to a lesser extent how it is formed, while December and Beautiful are a wholly unique edge case that changes the nature of the bond itself by being formed in a completely different way to how one normally bonds Entities, with a completely different end result.

Forget all those theories, Yall think that Adonalsium is just a huge Hemalurgic spike that binds the three planes together?

2:00 trick Amaal? Like offering a thirsty world hopper some water.

After all why shouldn’t I?
Why should I not FOD for myself to stay up to date on Cosmere lore…?

Nahh I’ll watch this when my library gets finally gets the book don’t worry 😉

maybe nahel is spirit-spirit bond, luhel physical-spirit and the zohel is cognitive-spirit bond

Y'know I'd been presuming that Valor had left long before the Megalith showed up, or else why wouldn't she just Shard it away herself, but you make a fantastic point. The fact that Valor specifically requested help, and Endowment specifically "did not go in person" fits a hundred million percent with "sent her bestest Returned to fix things".

I do think that the dragon is a Yolish dragon, but I'm not ruling out that it's a mundane one, specifically because we're told the Prophet turned into the Dragon. For some reason this feels like one of Brandon's classic fake-outs, where it sounds like he's referencing shapeshifting, but in reality it's just that people conflate the dragon with the prophet and so invented shapeshifting powers neither actually has. It has a very "realistic thing people would get wrong" flavor that is oh-so-Cosmere.

Though... how extreme is the shapeshifting of a Returned? If Vasher ever did manage to see himself as a Dragon, could he become one?
