this feels like a video from 2018

i don't think it would be possible for me to be mad about Jonesy because it would simply be too funny to get mad at

Most Smash predictions are sorta just going "who's left" for the most part currently.

Vinepie as the pokemon copout rep because no matter who you chose half the world would be outraged

Doomguy and Arle as your wish picks, you are a man after my heart

I love when videos randomly turn into surreal horror.

Brother ain't played a video game since the Wii.

cool. now give me the 7 hour wishlist video
(your arle for smash video genuinely sold me on both the idea of her being included in smash as a playable fighter, as well as the puyo puyo and madou monogatari series themselves. my favorite parts of this video are just the parts where youre actually excited and interested in a pick and tbh hearing someone else mention how predictable smash speculation can be was downright vindicating.)

I feel both Shadow and Eggman should be included, considering Eggman is one of the most iconic villains in gaming.

I’m going to take a wild guess and assume he isn’t an RPG guy

That first DLC pack is too good to be true, even if i do see your vision, it looks like every 2018s smash player dream picks

The way this prediction feels detached from his infamous roster cut video, to the point he did a held gunpoint to add Noah whiling parodying the Gen 10 pokémon

Criticism must’ve hit him hard

Glad to see this channel is back. Maybe the takes on your previous video were not the best, especially when presented as a "Speculative Analysis" for an upcoming entry, but it's always cool to see other points of view, at least when it's a harmless topic, even if it feels like "old man yells at cloud". Also your videos are very creative, and it surprised me how this one still is. You would think it's a very restrictive subject, yet bits like the Vinepie one still show that creativity.

Solid video commentary with great and creative bits. Subbed

I want a playable Monster Hunter in Smash

Still rooting for Vine-Pie personally

He starts off as a garlic knot😂😂😂😂😂 funniest shit ever bruh

Honestly, after how the last video went, I went in with very low expectations. But I can confidently say you have proved me wrong. I really appreciate how you kept your personal biases away from what you thought was more likley. There's nothing wrong with not liking Xenoblade, we just didn't like how you stepped on it like it was unimportant. I will say a lot of the takes here definitely felt basic, but I think what makes them basic is how likely they are. Plus, basic doesn't mean it is bad. I would have liked to see maybe 2 predictions that feel extremely unlikely but still possible. Like, Sephiroth seemed very unlikely, but it happened, and when you considered the reasons, it made sense. The next smash game is bound to have a pick like that to make things to add more to the realm of unpredictability.

I also have some choices that I disagree with. Leon from Resident Evil makes sense, especially when you consider how Resident Evil is Capcom's big money maker. But a part of me thinks Capcom knows how big the series is, it doesn't need Smash to boost itself up, Resident Evil will always be a big name. I think Phoenix Wright would be a cool wildcard pick as the series is heavily linked to Nintendo, and it adds a visual novel character to the game. As a Fire Emblem fan I also don't think they are going to add a Fire Emblem character as DLC. I will defend Byleth's inclusion any day, and I still think releasing Byleth as DLC was the right idea,  it let Three Houses actually be out and build a sizable fanbase, one that actually allowed it to win Players Choice at the game awards. But with how poorly received Byleth was as a DLC character I think they might hold out on doing that again. Fortune's Weave will come out before Smash 6, and with it being in the same universe as Three Houses (Fire Emblem's big money maker), a Fortune's Weave character will be great as a base roster character.

Either way, good work on the video. It was pretty well made, and there were some pretty funny bits. Minus the monkey, I loathe you for that.

I feel like Villager’s Up Special already removed the need for Balloon Fighter. He’s already adapted perfectly in that single move.

That guy FFWDing through the rant on Jack Frost was basically me when he said "I'm not gonna yip a whole yap about my feelings on Fornite" and then yipped all over the yap about his feelings on Fornite. Oooooh, YouTube has fourfold speed now?
